J. Vardy enters the game and replaces D. Sturridge.
Sturridge has had a quiet second half and makes way for Vardy.
72'
Scotland are looking fairlyd dejected. They don't deserve to be losing by such a wide margin, but have been made to pay for their lack of clinical edge in front of goal. They have to ensure that this result does not become out of hand.
70'
MISS! Sterling misses a glorious chance to add a fourth for the home side as he blazes his effort over the bar from two yards. Henderson played a neat one-two to open up the right flank and his delivery was even better to find Sterling at the back post, but he somehow missed the target.

54'
CHANCE! Forrest sends a low throughball for the run of Morrison and the West Brom man takes one touch before firing at goal with his left foot, but his effort is well saved by Hart.

28'
OVER! Scotland should be level as Hanley misses a free header from six yards out. The Newcastle defender peeled off his man to latch on to the corner from the right, but he could only lift his headed effort over the crossbar. A huge opportunity spurned by Hanley.
26'
CHANCE! Scotland almost respond immediately as a clearance from a Snodgrass free-kick falls to Griffiths on the edge of the box. He powers a strike towards the net, but Cahill puts his body on the line to divert it behind for a corner.
24'
Walker does well to remain in an advanced position on the right and he supplies a perfect cross for Sturridge to head home.
GOAL!!!! England take the lead as Sturridge heads home from close range. 17'
Both teams are struggling for rhythm with the ball, but that will concern Southgate more than Strachan at this stage of proceedings.
15'
Scotland try to play the ball out from the left corner and Wallace sends a pass across his own box, but fortunately for him it lands perfeclty for Anya to bring the visitors forward.
13'
PENALTY SHOUT! Sterling goes in chase of the ball in the box and gets clattered into by Wallace, but the referee dismisses his claims for a penalty. Unneccessary challenge from the Scotland left-back.
12'
Stones attempts to play the ball out from the back and Griffiths puts him under pressure. He plays a hurried pass to Henderson, who does the same across to Walker, but the Three Lions eventually bring it away from their own box.
11'
Scotland clear an England probe with ease and Brown does well to latch onto Griffiths's flick to burst into the home side's half. However, Rose gets back in time to win a throw-in for Southgate's men to quell the danger.
10'
Lallana wants the ball in front of his own box, but he turns straight into Fletcher. Cahill asks Hart to collect the ball, but the defender is put under pressure and clears it out for a throw-in.
9'
Rose clears the danger and England come forward through Lallana. He and Sterling combine down the left flank to put the Scots under pressure, but their defence holds firm under first attack from the Three Lions.

We're underway at Wembley.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the World Cup qualifying clash between England and Scotland at Wembley.
The Battle of Britain begins as England and Scotland lock horns for the first of the two qualifying matches they will play against each other in Group F.
Gordon Strachan's men are in dire need of a victory this evening having been hammered by Slovakia in their last outing, while Gareth Southgate will be aiming to register his second win as Three Lions boss.
England are in decent position on top of Group F, having won two and drawn one of their three qualifying matches to date. The Three Lions put in a tepid performance in their last outing against Slovenia, and Southgate will be keen to see an improvement in both the result and the display of his side.
The team news has been confirmed and we'll start with the home side.
Scotland beat Malta emphatically in their first match of qualifying, but have struggled since. Strachan's men were grateful for a late James McArthur header to avoid defeat to Lithuania at home, while they were hammered by Slovakia 3-0 in their last outing. They need a positive result tonight.
Scotland subs: Marshall, Hamilton, Kingsley, R Martin, Paterson, Ritchie, Burke, Bannan, McArthur, Fletcher, C Martin, Naismith.
Southgate has made three changes to his side tonight, which sees Wayne Rooney brought back into the starting line-up to captain the team behind Daniel Sturridge in attack. Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana also return to the side, having missed the draw against Slovenia due to injury.
Strachan has rung the changes this evening, making eight in total. Craig Gordon returns between the sticks, making his first start in a competitive fixture since 2009. Christophe Berra, Ikechi Anya, Lee Wallace, James Forrest, James Morrison, Scott Brown and Lee Griffiths also come into the fold.
There have been some memorable matches between these sides in recent memory, including England's 2-0 win over the Scots in Euro 96 when Paul Gascoigne scored an outstanding volleyed finished before celebrating in the 'dentist's chair'. Can one of the players tonight produce a similar moment of magic?
The players are making their way out on to the field, so we should be underway shortly.
A minute's silence is observed at Wembley for Rememberance Day. Kick-off is just moments away.
HALF-TIME: ENGLAND 1-0 SCOTLAND
England lead through Daniel Sturridge's 24th-minute strike, but Gareth Southgate will not be overly satisfied with his side's performance. Scotland have had ample opportunities to get on the scoresheet, but have failed to find the net. Both teams are in dire need of an injection of quality in the second period.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway shortly.
FULL-TIME ENGLAND 3-0 SCOTLAND
England were far from convincing this evening, but goals from Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and Gary Cahill have guided the Three Lions to victory over the Auld Enemy. Scotland were made to rue a series of missed chances, especially at the start of the second half and were made to pay by the home side.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
The result will place Gordon Strachan under immense pressure as his side are in danger of failing to qualify for a major tournament once again. In the other dugout an ugly win for the Three Lions will not satisfy too many people, but Gareth Southgate may have strengthened his claim on the full-time manager's job just a little bit.
