THERE WAS A CHANCE! Oxlade-Chamberlain skins his man on the right, and plays a ball into Wilshere inside the six-yard area...but he can't make contact on the ball. And that's it! Swansea win!
90' +4
Free kick given after a failed Arsenal corner. The Gunners also had an appeal for a handball rightfully go uncalled. Swansea will reset with the set piece, and they're clearly in no hurry.
90' +3
Into the third of four added minutes, and Arsenal win a corner, which goes absolutely nowhere. Ki hacks it clear, and Swansea are so close to a vital victory against the Gunners!
90' +1
In his final roll of the dice, Wenger throws on Yaya Sanogo for Chambers. And his first contribution is to bowl over his marker and concede a foul. Time is not on Arsenal's side.
90'
M. Barrow gets yellow.
Y. Sanogo enters the game and replaces C. Chambers.
YET ANOTHER yellow card here, as Barrow is booked for dissent. That takes the number of bookings in this game into double figures. I guess the rain does that to people.
89'
Lovely pass from Sanchez. The Chilean lifts the ball over the defensive line for Walcott to chase, but the lack of game time clearly shows with a rusty first touch that sees the chance collapse.
87'
L. Britton enters the game and replaces T. Carroll.
There's going to be a yellow card for Alexis for dissent. He went down enthusiastically looking for a free kick, but the referee waved play on, to his fury. Swansea earn an opportunity to milk the clock.
86'
A. Sánchez gets yellow.
The ball has been camped in the Swansea half since the Gomis goal, but the home side are defending in great numbers. Arsenal are struggling to find a way through the walls of white.
85'
On the flip side, Arsenal have recovered the most points in the league from losing positions this season. There's some resilience in there, but why do they need to have their backs against the wall to perform? Can they do it again in the last five minutes plus stoppage time?
84'
Wenger will again face criticism of his side's display. And to be honest, if this result holds, or if they drop points from a winning position for the second time this week, he will deserve every word of it. It boggles the mind how fragile this side can be.
Minute
Description
82'
And what about the substitutions by Monk? Two strokes of genius. Barrow won the free kick for their equaliser, and now Gomis, barely a minute off the bench, struck the go-ahead goal.
80'
I'm sorry, but Chambers has been roasted on a spit in this game. Forget the multiple skinnings by Montero - he was lucky not to concede a penalty and nearly coughed up a one-on-one with a poor back header. Wenger throws on Wilshere and Walcott as his side chase a way back into the game.
79'
T. Walcott enters the game and replaces A. Ramsey.
J. Wilshere enters the game and replaces M. Flamini.
78'
B. Gomis has scored a goal for Swansea City! Assist by J. Montero.
SWANSEA HAVE ANOTHER! WHAT A TURNAROUND! Montero leaves Chambers for dead once again, and clips a lovely cross into the box. No one in a yellow shirt bothers to defend it, leaving new introduction Gomis with all the time in the world to rise and plant a header home!
77'
Gibbs was the one who gave up that set piece, and he was booked for his troubles. Impactful debut for Barrow too, whose speed through the centre forced the concession of the free kick. Meanwhile, Gomis cones on for Bony.
76'
B. Gomis enters the game and replaces W. Bony.
75'
G. Sigurðsson has scored a goal for Swansea City!
MAGNIFICENT GOAL! SWANSEA LEVEL! A free kick from at least 25 yards is curled over the wall and into the top corner by Sigurdsson. He has had a mixed afternoon, but he won't forget that goal in a hurry!
74'
K. Gibbs gets yellow.
72'
Swansea waste a corner, which falls right to the Arsenal defence. The Gunners have shipped league goals left, right and centre from set pieces, so the hosts really need to be doing better with those opportunities.
70'
This game is so finely poised at the moment. Sanchez's goal is the best thing that could have happened, since it forces Swansea forward to get back into the contest. That will leave opportunities for the Gunners to counter again. We may be in for a cracking final 20 minutes.
68'
First substitution of the game from either manager, as Emnes departs for Barrow, who makes his Swansea debut. The dreadlocked winger was occasionally able to use his speed to good effect out wide in this match. Barrow will be more likely to cut inside, given that he's a left footer playing on the right.
67'
M. Barrow enters the game and replaces M. Emnes.
So, if you're counting, that's eight goals in as many Premier League games for Alexis, and 12 in his last 14. Definitely getting some Suarez in 2013-14 vibes from the Chilean in the way that he's carrying his team.
65'
NEARLY AN INSTANT RESPONSE! Montero skips past Chambers again, and squares to Bony who is in almost an identical position from which Sanchez scored moments ago. However, his finish lacks the conviction of the Chilean's and it bobbles wide.
63'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by D. Welbeck.
T. Carroll gets yellow.
ARSENAL LEAD - AND GUESS WHO SCORED? Bony coughs up the ball and the Gunners are devastating on the break. Welbeck speeds down the right and cuts back on the byline once again. This time, he has plenty of options to pick out, and he squares for Alexis, who sweeps it home!
62'
C. Chambers gets yellow.
Yet another booking here, and it unsurprisingly goes to Flamini. For better or for worse, the midfielder has been very busy in this game, and one of his traditional two-footers is immediately penalized.
60'
The rain continues to fall over the Liberty Stadium, and Cazorla attempts to manipulate the conditions to his advantage with a low drive that skids off the turf and is saved by Fabianski. Crucially, the Polish keeper smothers the loose ball before Sanchez can follow up.
58'
Opportunity for Welbeck to make inroads into the box after he pivoted away from Taylor on the byline, but his attempted cutback is too predictable. Sometimes, the Arsenal striker is too passive.
56'
Mertesacker goes in late on Bony and gets booked. The giant German doesn't pick up too many bookings - this is his second of the season. The yellow cards starting to pile up in this game.
55'
P. Mertesacker gets yellow.
54'
Both sides have been dependent on their wing wizards for the majority of their attacks this evening. Montero and Oxlade-Chamberlain have both not shied away from taking on their man, but the end product has been lacking.
52'
Swansea come close to carving Arsenal apart on the break, as the Gunners are caught short at the back following a failed corner. However Montero, leading the charge, is unable to pick out his man.
50'
A. Williams gets yellow.
Cazorla and Williams go down in a heap after a challenge. Replays show that the Swansea defender was the aggressor with a bad challenge and to add insult to injury, he's booked.
48'
Chance right from the off! Oxlade-Chamberlain picks up where he left off, taking an Alexis feed in stride but firing his effort right down the throat of Swansea keeper Fabianski.
46'
Here we go again!
45' +1
A. Ramsey gets yellow.
Ramsey shows splendid technique to volley a high ball towards the bottom corner, missing by inches. He's not been near his form of this time last season, the Welshman, but the ability is clearly still there.
44'
Welbeck flicks a header to the far side, and Chambers is racing to get on the end of it. However, he can't get any purchase on the shot thanks to the defensive attention of Montero.
42'
Half time is moments away. Wenger should be wanting his team to show more fire and directness - perhaps pointing to Oxlade-Chamberlain as an example. Monk will be satisfied that they've managed to stymie Arsenal, but he'll surely want his side to push forward more, given that the points are very much there for the taking.
41'
Ki Sung-Yueng gets yellow.
40'
Welbeck uses his hand to control a long pass from Monreal. Not pretty stuff from Arsenal, but then again, there's been nothing in this game that would ever make it on a highlight reel.
38'
Taylor slides in late on Oxlade-Chamberlain, and is promptly booked for his challenge. Now he has to walk a tightrope against a player that will keep running right at him.
37'
N. Taylor gets yellow.
Swansea have a 53-47 per cent edge in possession, an encouraging statistic for Monk and his side, given that they were virtually starved of the ball in the opening ten minutes of this game. Now, if we could have a chance or two...
35'
SZCZESNY SAVES! Montero wriggles his way past his man after a mistake from Chambers, and he feeds Emnes down the right. The winger has the space for the shot and lets fly, but it's right down the throat of the Pole, who still can't hold onto it!
33'
Second penalty shout for Swansea in the first half. Emnes fires a cross into the hand of Gibbs on the edge of the box and though the appeals go up from the stands, Phil Dowd is unmoved once again.
31'
The game is momentarily delayed as Cazorla is tended to by the physios for an injury picked up. Arsenal will wait to take a corner, won by the persistence of the Ox on the right-hand side.
29'
Arsenal are showing more purpose in their buildup, but it's still a little too intricate from them. Oxlade-Chamberlain at least is attempting to take players on, and Arsenal would do well to feed him at the moment. He looks hungry.
27'
Ramsey wins a corner thanks to a deflection, and Fabianski shows good command of his area to nab the ball from the resulting delivery, before he is fouled by Chambers. Some fire to this game now.
25'
Taylor gets the better of Chambers out wide and spots Rangel making a move infield. He feeds the Spaniard who takes aim from the top of the box, but he can't get his shot through a sea of yellow shirts.
23'
That's the second nervy moment for Chambers in this match. There's a reactionary side to his game that sees him occasionally concede mistakes like that and rack up yellow cards like they're going out of style. Perhaps just the impetuousness of youth though, and there's a lot to like about the aggression and versatility that the former Southampton man brings to the table.
21'
WAS THAT A PENALTY? Bony controlled Emnes' cross inside the box and Chambers barged into his back. Phil Dowd waves play on though, to the fury of the home fans. That was a really close call, and I would not have faulted the referee if he had signaled a spot kick!
19'
There's been a consistent rain over South Wales, and it has made the pitch very slippery, but not soggy. In theory, this should help the ball zip along the surface but at the moment, it only looks to be stunting the chance creation from both sides.
17'
The quality in the final third is really lacking from both sides. Arsenal and Swansea are, on reputation at least, two of the Premier League's best exponents of passing football. It's lead nowhere so far though.
15'
A weak back header from Chambers almost leaves Szczesny stranded against Montero, but the Arsenal defence manages to recover just in time to ward off the fleet-footed Ecuadorian.
13'
Cazorla fakes a shot and instead feeds Gibbs on the overlap. The England left back drills in a low cross for Sanchez, but the Chilean can't find the goalscoring position that he needs amongst a sea of bodies.
11'
Swansea are starting to explore their attacking options more now, and are forcing Arsenal to organise defensively. There's always the risk of the Gunners pushing too high up and getting caught on the break.
9'
Some caution there for the Arsenal defence to deal with as Oxlade-Chamberlain gives away a careless free kick, which Sigurdsson swings into a dangerous area. Chambers heads away with authority.
7'
Arsenal have been camped in the opposition half for almost the entirety of this game, but they've not created anything meaningful with the ball. Swansea are biding their time for the moment.
5'
Williams has seemingly shaken off that knock, but Monk will be keeping an eye on him. Arsenal resume the game as they started it, in complete control of possession, playing patiently.
3'
Already some problems for Monk to ponder in defence. Williams has pulled up in pain, and he may not be able to continue. With Bartley already making a rare start, the Swansea boss will not want to be forced into another alteration at the back.
1'
Here we go!
Hello and welcome to the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea host Arsenal. These two sides are separated by only two points in the table, and have had contrasting fortunes this season. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for this afternoon's action in Wales.
Under Garry Monk, Swansea have made their best-ever start to a Premier League season, with 15 points from their opening 10 games. It could have been even better for the Swans, given that they've dropped eight points from winning positions this season, joint most in the division.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has been forced to step into the ring to defend himself against more criticism after another baffling performance from his side. The Gunners coughed up a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 at home against Anderlecht midweek in the Champions League.
The Gunners boss is facing all of the usual complaints - tactics, injuries and transfers. There's a growing disillusionment among Arsenal fans that the side's ability seems to yet again be capped at a top-four finish. All of their four league wins this season has come against sides currently in the bottom six of the table - though Arsenal have recovered seven points from losing positions this season, a league high.
Swansea have not won agains Arsenal in five games, but their home form has been strong this season. They've taken 10 points from 15 on offer and their defensive record at the Liberty Stadium is the joint second best in the league, with only three goals conceded.
Arsenal subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Rosicky, Wilshere, Podolski, Walcott, Sanogo.
Lukasz Fabianski starts as expected in goal against his former club. Monk also makes three changes to his XI following the 0-0 draw against Everton, with Kyle Bartley, Tom Carroll and Marvin Emnes coming in for Federico Fernandez, Jonjo Shelvey and Wayne Routledge.
Only one change from Wenger following the Anderlecht game, and it's an enforced one. Mikel Arteta's injury means that Mathieu Flamini comes in to assume the deepest midfield position. Surprising that there weren't other alterations, but Arsenal did play well for the best part of an hour against the Belgians and in Alexis Sanchez, they have one of Europe's most in-form players.
So, goalless at the break here at the Liberty Stadium. Arsenal began to force more and more pressure in the Swansea half towards the end, but they have still struggled to fashion any real chances. Swansea have defended well, but their attacking endeavour has dried up as the half progressed. Let's hope for more goalmouth action in the second half. Stay tuned.
A massive, massive result for the home side, who leapfrog Arsenal by a point to move into fifth place. They fully deserved this win, defending doggedly and ruthlessly exploiting Arsenal when the opportunities presented themselves. What a turnaround for them!
That's it for me then on what turned out to be a gripping night in Wales. I've been Keeghann Sinanan and it's been fun!
Sanchez appeared to have dragged Arsenal over the line with his 63rd minute opener, but once again this week, the Gunners drop points from a winning position. Wenger's side are in sixth, staring down a gap of 12 points on league leaders Chelsea.
