W. Samuel gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
Fantastic chance for Streller! The striker skips past Maicon before firing a great shot from the edge of the box that sails just past the far post. That was easily Basel's best opportunity all evening long.
RED CARD! It's gone from bad to worse for Basel, who will now finish the game with just 10 men after Samuel shoves Aboubakar in the back off the ball, resulting in his second yellow card of the game.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
89'
Almost a terrible mistake by Vaclik! The goalkeeper fluffs an attempted clearance and sends the ball spinning up into the air, but Quaresma's volleyed flick from the left-hand side of the box flies safely out of play for a goal kick.
88'
Elneny finally finds himself in space in the middle of the pitch and unleashes a long-range effort, but it's comfortably saved by Fabiano.
87'
Basel are enjoying a good spell of possession at the moment but, as has been the case all evening long, it's proving impossible for them to find a way past the sea of blue shirts camped in front of them.
85'
Great run by Quaresma! The substitute picks up the ball inside his own half of the pitch and immediately breaks away on a great dart down the left flank, flying past a plethora of tackles before finally being brought down by a clumsy challenge from Xhaka.
83'
Streller breaks away down the left wing before curling a cross-cum-shot towards the near post that Fabiano is forced to parry out of play for a corner. The resulting set-piece is fired towards the right-hand side of the box but it's poorly hit and is easily dealt with by the Porto defence.
81'
Kakitani uses his pace to great effect and sprints down the right flank in an attempt to reach a lose ball, but Fabiano rushes out of his box to clear the danger with an excellent interception.
79'
Ricardo Quaresma enters the game and replaces Evandro.
And now Porto have made their final substitution, with Quaresma coming on to take the place of Evandro for the final 10 minutes of the game.
77'
D. Callà enters the game and replaces S. Gashi.
With little under quarter-of-an-hour left to play, Basel have made their final change, with Gashi making way for Calla.
Minute
Description
76'
V. Aboubakar has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by H. Herrera.
GOAL! It's 4-0! Aboubakar darts forward and skips past Samuel before firing a rocket of a shot that, once again, leaves Vaclik with no chance whatsoever. Porto have now scored 21 goals in the Champions League this season, surpassing their previous record, which was set in the 2003/04 campaign - the year that they won the competition.
74'
Rúben Neves enters the game and replaces Y. Brahimi.
Porto have made their second substitution of the game, with goalscorer Brahimi making way for youngster Neves.
73'
It's far too easy for Porto at the moment, as the Portuguese side are comfortably passing the ball around in the middle of the pitch without Basel causing them any problems whatsoever.
71'
Basel break away quickly, with Kakitani and Embolo linking up well on the edge of the box before the latter darts into the right-hand side of the penalty area. He's seemingly brought down by the arm of Martins Indi near the byline but the referee shakes his head and awards a goal kick instead.
69'
And now Aboubakar breaks through the Basel back line, but, like Tello a few moments ago, his run is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is raised immediately.
67'
Aboubakar picks up the ball near the halfway line and attempts to send a quick through-ball into the path of Tello, but the Spaniard is just a yard or two offside, denying him the opportunity to go one-on-one with Vaclik.
65'
Sandro skips past two Basel players before chipping a deft pass into the path of Evandro, but it's slightly overhit and flies just past the midfielder before bouncing out of play for a goal kick.
63'
Y. Kakitani enters the game and replaces F. Frei.
Basel have made their second change of the evening, with Kakitani coming on to take the place of Frei.
62'
Basel look dejected, and, as a result, Porto are bossing possession in the middle of the pitch. It's not a surprise, as only Bayern Munich and Barcelona have a greater average possession in the this season's Champions League than the Portuguese side, who look deadly on the ball.
61'
Great chance for Zuffi! Gashi sprints down the left flank before sending a dangerous low cross into the penalty area where it meets the Swiss midfielder, who fires a first-time shot that forces Fabiano into making a good diving save.
59'
It looks as if Basel have changed to a 3-4-3 formation as they look to push forward in an attempt to pull off the most unlikely of comebacks.
57'
B. Embolo enters the game and replaces F. Schär.
Basel have decided to make their first substitution of the game, and it's an attacking one, with Schar making way for Embolo.
56'
Casemiro has scored a goal for Porto!
GOAL! What a strike by Casemiro! The Brazilian steps up and fires an absolutely brilliant shot from the resulting set-piece that flies past the outstretched hands of Vaclik and into the top left-hand corner of the net to all but confirm Porto's place in the quarter-finals. That the third goal from a free kick that the Portuguese side have scored in the Champions League this season, more than any other team.
55'
B. Safari gets yellow.
Iván Marcano gets yellow.
After plenty of thinking time, the referee finally awards Marcano a yellow card for his part in the argument.
Safari is also shown a yellow card, much to the annoyance of the Swedish left-back.
54'
It's all kicking off! Tello breaks away quickly before being brought down by a strong challenge from Frei, who is angry with the decision and makes his grievances known to the Porto players.
52'
Gashi does well to keep the ball in play on the left flank before firing a great cross into the Porto box. It meets Gonzalez near the penalty spot but the winger's first touch is poor and allows the hosts to easily clear the danger.
50'
Tello curls the resulting set-piece into the heart of the penalty area, but it flies past every available blue shirt before being comfortably headed away from danger by Schar.
49'
W. Samuel gets yellow.
Samuel rushes out to the right flank and dives into Sandro, bringing the Brazilian crashing to the ground with a poor challenge that results in a yellow card for the Argentine.
47'
H. Herrera has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Y. Brahimi.
GOAL! Porto have doubled their lead! Brahimi embarks on a brilliant run down the left flank, twisting and turning through a sea of white shirts before cutting the ball back to Herrera, who then beats Vaclik with an excellent curling shot from the edge of the penalty area.
46'
And we're underway once again!
45' +6
Tello twists and turns on the right-hand side of the penalty area before firing a low cross off Samuel and out for a corner. The resulting set-piece is deflected out of the box where it finds Herrera, but the Mexican midfielder sends his first-time strike well wide of the goal.
45' +4
Again, Basel are seeing a lot of the ball in the middle of the pitch, but with a sea of blue shirts in front of them they are finding it impossible to turn that possession into chances on goal.
45' +2
Aboubakar and Tello link up well before the latter tries to find the striker once again with a deft through-ball, but it's cut out by Frei on the edge of the penalty area at the vital moment.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be five minutes of added time.
44'
Fantastic chance for Gashi! A brilliant cross from Zuffi is deflected out to the Albanian on the edge of the penalty area, and he immediately unleashes a quick half-volley that spins agonisingly wide of the far post.
43'
Samuel sends a lofted pass out to Xhaka, who then looks for Gonzalez down the right flank. The winger earns his side a throw-in that's sent to Streller, but the striker is outmuscled by Casemiro before the Brazilian blasts the ball away from danger.
42'
Basel are enjoying a lengthy spell of possession for the first time this evening but they're finding it incredibly difficult to find a way past the Porto defence, who look well-drilled and well-organised.
40'
A poor pass from Schar gifts possession back to Porto, who immediately break away on a dangerous counter attack. Tello darts into the right-hand side of the penalty area before beating Vaclik with a chipped cross, but the aforementioned Basel defender is just about able to get back in time to cut it out at the vital moment.
38'
D. González gets yellow.
Brahimi twists and turns on the wing before being brought down by a reckless challenge from Gonzalez, who is immediately shown a yellow card as a result.
37'
Streller wins possession back for Basel in the middle of the pitch before sending the ball out to the left wing, where Gashi and Safari link up well before a poor touch from the latter forces him into sticking a foot out and bringing down Maicon near the byline.
36'
Martins Indi gets forward well again, finding himself in plenty of space on the left flank before curling a great cross into the heart of the box. It meets Aboubakar in front of goal but the striker's half-hearted effort on goal falls to trouble Vaclik.
34'
Great strike by Aboubakar! The striker brings the ball down well and skips past Frei before firing a wonderful volleyed shot that beats Vaclik but sails just wide of the far post.
32'
Porto push forward in numbers, with Herrera and Evandro exchanging deft passes on the edge of the Basel box before the latter tees up Casemiro, who then unleashes a curling strike from 25 yards out that flies just over the top of the crossbar.
30'
S. Gashi gets yellow.
The free kick fails to trouble the Porto defence, who comfortably clear the danger before Martins Indi is clipped by a trailing elbow from Gashi, resulting in a yellow card for the Albanian.
28'
Basel finally win the ball back from the hosts, and Gashi embarks on a marauding run down the left wing before being tripped over by Casemiro just outside of the penalty area.
26'
Porto break away swiftly again, this time through Martins Indi on the left flank, but the Dutchman's low cross is cut out by Samuel before it's able to meet Aboubakar in front of goal.
24'
The game gets underway once again and Porto almost immediately break away down the right wing, but Samuel does well to dart across and dispossess Tello with a great tackle near the corner flag.
22'
B. Martins Indi enters the game and replaces Danilo.
After being treated in the middle of the pitch for several minutes, Danilo is finally stretchered off the pitch to be replaced by Martins Indi.
20'
Fabiano seems to have recovered from the clash but Danilo is still on the ground receiving treatment from the Porto medical staff. The captain received a sickeningly heavy blow from his goalkeeper and it looks as if his game is over already.
18'
For some strange reason, Fabiano suddenly darts out to the edge of the penalty area and clashes with Danilo as they both go for the ball in the air, leaving the two players in a heap on the floor and in serious discomfort.
16'
What a shot by Casemiro! The Brazilian spots Vaclik off his line and almost beats the Czech goalkeeper with a cheeky long-range strike, but it ends up flying just over the top of the crossbar.
14'
Y. Brahimi has scored a goal for Porto!
GOAL! Porto have taken the lead! Tello is brought down clumsily by Samuel, gifting the hosts a free kick in a very dangerous position just outside of the penalty area. After plenty of time eyeing up a shot, Brahimi steps up and fires a brilliant strike that curls past the wall before flying into the top right-hand corner of the net.
12'
Again, Porto try to break away quickly, this time through Aboubakar, but Schar does well to rush across the penalty area and dispossess the striker at the vital moment.
11'
Basel lose possession near the halfway line, and Porto take advantage of the opportunity to break away on a quick counter attack. Brahimi darts into the box and goes down after skipping past Xhaka, but there wasn't enough contact between the two for a penalty and instead the referee awards a goal kick.
9'
Porto patiently pass the ball around on the edge of the Basel penalty area before Evandro tries to chip a pass into the path of Brahimi, but it's poorly struck and is easily cut out by the visitors' defence.
7'
After a lengthy period of Porto possession, Basel win the ball back in the middle of the pitch, allowing them to break away quickly. Safari gets forward to join in with the attack but is unable to beat Danilo on the left wing and ends up sending the ball out of play for a goal kick.
5'
A long ball forward from Fabiano is brought down well by Aboubakar, who then earns his side a throw-in midway inside the Basel half of the pitch. It's played to Sandro, who then fires a deep cross towards the back post that is easily cut out by Vaclik.
3'
Danilo pushes forward down the right flank before sending a low cross towards the Basel penalty area, but the attempted pass is poorly struck and fails to clear the first man on the edge of the box.
1'
And we're off! Basel get us underway, attacking from left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today's Champions League last-16 second leg clash between Porto and Basel. My name is Ben Cullimore and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Estadio do Dragao.
Thanks to a 79th-minute penalty successfully converted by Danilo, Porto head into tonight’s game with a precious away goal, one that might prove to be incredibly important if the second leg is as closely fought as the first. Last month's meeting between the two sides is still the only time that the Portuguese side have failed to win in their last eight games, a fantastic run of form that has seen them keep the pressure firmly on Primeira Liga leaders Benfica. During that period, Julen Lopetegui’s men have looked incredibly impressive at both ends of the pitch, but particularly in defence, where they have conceded just two goals since the end of January.
Whilst their recent form isn’t quite as good as Porto's, Basel certainly still have a good chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League, particularly after the solid performance that they put in against the Portuguese side three weeks ago. They also head into tonight’s game with three back-to-back victories under their belts, whilst only one of their last 14 games has ended in a defeat, an impressive run that has seen them comfortably stay as the Swiss Super League’s top club for the vast majority of the season.
There's just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let's have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Porto XI (4-3-3): Fabiano; Danilo, Maicon, Marcano, Sandro; Herrera, Casemiro, Evandro; Tello, Aboubakar, Brahimi.
Porto substitutes: Helton, Martins Indi, Quintero, Quaresma, Torres, Neves, Paciencia.
Julen Lopetegui has made two changes to the Porto side that started in the first leg, with Evandro and Vincent Aboubakar coming into the squad to replace Oliver Torres and Jackson Martinez, the latter of whom is injured.
Meanwhile, Basel boss Paulo Sousa has decided to make one alteration to the side that started three weeks ago, with the suspended Marek Suchy making way for Fabian Schar.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: PORTO 1-0 BASEL
It's been a comfortable opening 45 minutes for Porto, who head into the half-time break with a one-goal lead that easily could have been been two or three if they continued to put pressure on Basel. Instead, they decided to sit back, defending comfortably against the Swiss side, who are finding it incredibly difficult to find a way past the well-organised hosts.
The two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
My name is Ben Cullimore and it's been an absolute pleasure describing all of the action to you this evening. Until next time, goodbye!
From start to finish, Porto never looked as if they were ever in any danger as they ran their Swiss opponents ragged at both ends of the pitch. In front of goal they were merciless, with Brahimi, Tello and Aboubakar causing the Basel back four a plethora of problems, whilst at the back they remained well-organised and well-disciplined to hold on to a deserved clean sheet, helping to comfortably see them into the quarter-finals of the competition.
