Mahmoud Dahoud enters the game and replaces P. Herrmann.
Dortmund have been limited to long-range efforts for quite some time now, and the latest to try his luck from distance is Mkhitaryan. His attempt is deflected behind for a corner, so Favre replaces Herrmann with Dahoud during the break in play.
90' +1
We are into the first of an additional three minutes.
89'
A. Hahn enters the game and replaces Raffael.
Raffael's afternoon comes to an early end, but he receives a great ovation as he makes way for the introduction of Hahn.
87'
Again Immobile tries his luck from a difficult position, this time on the left corner of the box. He tries to bend his shot inside the far post but gets it all wrong and misses the target completely.
85'
Immobile tries his luck with an ambitious shot from 30 yards out but he slices it high and wide of Sommer's goal. That was a poor effort from the Italian.
84'
Dortmund are doing a good job of maintaining possession now having been opened up on the counterattack by the hosts twice in quick succession. Such a patient game won't help them find a potential route back into this match, though.
82'
Hazard dribbles inside from the left before releasing a tame effort that is held by Weidenfeller. Dortmund progress up the other end and Sommer is forced into a similarly simple save by a weak attempt from Mkhitaryan.
80'
SO CLOSE! Raffael plays in Herrmann with a sublime pass behind Dudziak, and the Gladbach man races to the byline before squaring across the goal mouth. Kruse slides to try and connect for a simple finish but he arrives a fraction of a second too late!
79'
Gundogan seems to have got a taste for goal, but his latest attempt to find the net sails far wide of the target from 30 yards out! Sommer didn't even bother moving towards that one.

Description
78'
Changes for both sides now. Aubameyang is off for Immobile for the visitors, while Hazard replaces Johnson for the hosts.
77'
C. Immobile enters the game and replaces P. Aubameyang.
İ. Gündoğan has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by J. Dudziak.
T. Hazard enters the game and replaces F. Johnson.
GOOOOOOAAAAL!! DORTMUND PULL ONE BACK! The visitors move up the other end and Aubameyang teases a cross in from the right which evades Ramos. It runs through to Dudziak on the left and he cuts a pass back to Gundogan who fires a shot inside the near post!
76'
Herrmann takes advantage of a slip from Dudziak to gain possession inside the Dortmund half, but, after a one-two with Raffael, he is dispossessed by Hummels.
74'
With BVB committing more men forward in search of a goal they are leaving huge gaps at the back. Gladbach have already proven adept at counterattacking today and may well fancy their chances of adding to their tally.
72'
AGONISINGLY CLOSE! Xhaka releases a missile from 30 yards that bounces off the deck and shades the outside of the upright. Weidenfeller was at full stretch as he got down to his left and will have been pleased to see it miss the target by a hair.
AGONISINGLY CLOSE! Xhaka releases a missile from 30 yards that bounces off the deck and shades the outside of the upright. Weidenfeller was at full stretch as he got down to his left and will have been pleased to see it miss the target by a hair.
71'
Hummels has to head behind with some last-ditch defending as Gladbach carve Dortmund open with ease. Raffael's pass out to Herrmann slowed the momentum of the break, and that enabled the centre-back to beat Kruse to the delivery.
70'
J. Dudziak enters the game and replaces M. Schmelzer.
Klopp makes his second change of the afternoon, replacing Schmelzer with Dudziak for the final 20 minutes.
69'
The game is surely beyond BVB now, with the Foals still looking the more dangerous of the two sides when they push forward. Everything that Dortmund are putting into the box is being mopped up by Sommer at the moment.
67'
H. Nordtveit has scored a goal for Borussia M'gladbach!
GOOOOOOAAAL!! IT'S THREE FOR GLADBACH! Kruse sends in a cross from the right, which is headed into the back of Ramos by Kehl. The ball falls kindly for Nodrtveit, who the Colombian was supposed to be marking, and he sweeps it home!
65'
Schmelzer clips another good cross in from the left wing and Blaszczykowski attacks it at the far post. The Pole fails to rise above Wendt and get his head on the end of ti, though.
63'
A. Ramos enters the game and replaces S. Kagawa.
Indeed, Klopp does introduce Ramos for his first change of the afternoon. The former Hertha Berlin man replaces Kagawa.
62'
WHAT A CHANCE! Raffael races in behind on the right and manages to squeeze a pass beyond Hummels and into the box. It is met by Wendt, who scored the opener, but, with Weidenfeller closing in, he slices his shot wide of the target!
61'
Klopp appears to be readying Ramos for action on the touchline. None of the front four for BVB have impressed today.
59'
STAT: Dortmund have conceded hree of the five Bundesliga goals that have been scored in the opening minute of matches this season.
57'
Gladbach work the ball forward on the right impressively, with Herrmann, Rafael and Kruse all inolved. The latter is eventually teed up for a shot from 20 yards but he sends it straight into Weidenfeller's grasp.
55'
Jurgen Klopp is up on his feet on the touchline, urging his team to continue pushing for a goal to halve the deficit. Until now he had been largely reserved, but clearly senses that momentum is building in his team.
53'
This is much better from Dortmund! They're showing a lot more urgency when they get forward now, and Kagawa comes across to the left to send a cross into the box. He aims for Aubameyang on the far side of the area but he drops to ground under slight contact from Wendt. The referee sees nothing in it and awards the hosts a goal kick.
52'
Blaszczykowski gets the better of Wendt on the edge of the right-hand side of the box, and he then rolls a pass across the face of goal. Kagawa looks sure to fire home from six yards but he arrives too late to make a connection and Brouwers clears!
50'
WHAT A MISS! Gladbach are finally caught short defensively by the visitors with Schmelzer racing forward on the left. He looks across and spots Kagawa in space at the back post so sends the ball over to him. However, the Japanese fails to convert what looks sure to be goal as he scuffs his attempt wide of the target!
49'
GOOD SAVE! It is almost a third for Gladbach! Herrmann finds acres of space inside the right-hand side of the box, and he is fed by a pass from Jantschke. Weidenfeller rushes off his line and gets a strong hand to the midfielder's effort to deflect it over the top!
48'
The second half has begun in a very similar manner to that which the first was played out in. Dortmund have quickly settled into possession with Gladbach happy to sit back and look to pounce on the break.
46'
We are back underway!
45'
Gladbach win a corner as Hummels deflects Wendt's cross out of play with a great challenge inside the box. The Swede was released by a brilliant pass from Raffael, who has shown some great technique during this first half.
There is the half-time whistle!
43'
The resultant set-piece is clipped into the box but Sommer comes from his line to claim it under pressure from Hummels. That was a very confident take! Gladbach quickly get up the other end and Herrmann cuts inside from the right with a sublime first touch. He can't follow it up with a shot of the same stature, blazing his left-footed attempt from 20 yards over the top.
42'
Favre isn't happy with the referee's decision to award a free kick to Dortmund on the near side after Xhaka's tug on Mkhitaryan. The Armenian stayed on his feet but was heading away from goal, and the Gladbach coach needed calming down by the official.
40'
There is very little urgency or desire to get forward when Dortmund have the ball. It is proving easy for the Foals to defend against with their two banks of four.
38'
Mkhitaryan cuts inside from the left and offloads to Subotic as he pushes into a more advanced area. He takes a touch before going for goal from 30 yards but his effort is wild and is never heading anywhere near Sommer in the Gladbach goal.
37'
Wendt concedes a corner on Dortmund's right and Blaszczykowski whips the resultant set-piece into the box. Once more the visitors fail to get on the end of it, with Gladbach clearing the threat instantly. BVB really need to improve in those situations today.
35'
Gladbach soon return to their deep defensive line, making it difficult for the likes of Blaszczykowski and Aubameyang to use their pace to get in behind. Favre will be delighted with how his team have played so far.
33'
STAT: That is Herrmann's 10th assist of the Bundesliga campaign, bringing him level with Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery. Only Marco Reus (13) and Roberto Firmino (11) have laid on more goals.
32'
Raffael has scored a goal for Borussia M'gladbach! Assist by P. Herrmann.
GOOOOOOOAAAL!! GLADBACH ARE TWO UP! It's a brilliant counterattacking goal from the hosts, with Herrmann surging through the heart of the Dortmund defence after picking up the ball 30 yards away from his own goal. He gets to the top of the box and commits Weidenfeller before squaring to Raffael, who slides the ball into the vacant net!
30'
Yet again Schmelzer supplies a cross from the left wing, but this time there is no one attacking it at the back post. Wendt has enough time to take a couple of touches to bring the ball down and get it under control before releasing it up the pitch.
28'
STAT: Dortmund are currently on a run of five consecutive Bundesliga away matches without defeat.
26'
Schmelzer has been very positive during the first period and he whips another great delivery into the box. However, once more it is a white shirt that is first to the ball. The hosts don't rush out from the back following the clearance but Wendt manages to get in the way of Sokratis' follow-up cross.
24'
After such an electric start to the game, the tempo has dropped off somewhat in the past five minutes. Again the hosts look to utilise the pace of Johnson down the left but the pass to the midfielder rolls out of play before he can latch onto it.
22'
Raffael flicks a pass on for Johnson out on the left, and the American races onto it in space. He aims a pass inside of Sokratis for the Brazilian, but Subotic reads his intention and steps up to make an important intervention.
20'
Xhaka comes under pressure near the halfway line and drops down on top of the ball. Three BVB players surround him but he refuses to budge, leaving the referee with no choice but to award the visitors a free kick for obstruction.
19'
Gladbach are holding onto possession inside their own half now, looking to draw Dortmund onto them before moving it forwards quickly. It will be demoralising for the visitors if they have to chase the ball in unthreatening areas.
17'
Schmelzer chases a long pass forward on the left but is tracked by Jantschke all the way. To Gladbach man marshalls his opponent away from the ball before getting a foot on it to keep it in play and dribbling up from the back.
15'
JUST WIDE! Another free kick in a positive area for Dortmund as Jantschke brings down Schmelzer on the edge of the box on the left-hand side. The left-back takes it quickly, rolling the ball back to Mkhitaryan who dribbles into the centre and reverses a 20-yard effort outside of the upright!
14'
The set-piece is swung into the box but Gladbach manage to eventually get it clear of the danger area. They work the ball up to the other end of the pitch and following a series of interlinking passes, Wendt's cutback from the left is mopped up by the BVB defence.
12'
R. Brouwers gets yellow.
Brouwers picks up an early yellow card for a clumsy tackle on Mkhitaryan after being dispossessed by the Armenia international wide on the left. He will need to watch his step for the remainder of the game, particularly up against Aubameyang's explosive pace.
11'
Dortmund are dominating possession, with Gladbach getting everyone but Kruse back behind the ball and seemingly trying to play on the counterattack. They've already got themselves ahead so they can afford to invite the visitors forward as they search for an equaliser.
9'
Dortmund are getting plenty of crosses into the box in the early exchanges, and, after a collision with Dominguez, Blaszczykowski has stayed down as he contested a header with the Spaniard following a delivery from the left. He was caught with an elbow but eventually returns to his feet without the need for treatment from the medical staff.
8'
Wendt tracks Blaszczykowski as he comes into the centre circle to try and pick up the ball from the defence. The Swede attempts to beat him to the pass but dives in and fouls the Poland international, resulting in a free kick for Dortmund.
6'
Aubameyang opens up his stride in possession for the first time this afternoon, twisting beyond Dominguez and storming to the byline. He clips a cross towards Mkhitaryan on the far side of the box but Jantschke gets his head on the delivery first.
5'
Blaszczykowski is released down the right and he has Aubameyang racing into the centre of the box. He tries to cut a pass back to the Gabon international but it is intercepted by Dominguez and put behind for a corner. The resultant set-piece is met by Hummels on the penalty spot and he powers his header straight into the arms of Sommer.
3'
What a start for Gladbach! They've been in formidable form at home in recent weeks, winning six Bundesliga matches here on the bounce. They have caught Dortmund napping in the opening stages!
1'
O. Wendt has scored a goal for Borussia M'gladbach!
We are underway!
GOOOOOOOAAAL!! GLADBACH LEAD INSIDE 30 SECONDS! Herrmann plays a one-two with Raffael on the edge of the box, and he beats Hummels to the byline with the German international losing his footing as he changes direction. He cuts the ball back to Johnson, whose shot is kept out by Weidenfeller but Wendt is first to the rebound and thumps it into the back of the net!
Hello and welcome to today’s LIVE coverage of the Bundesliga meeting between Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund. The third-placed Foals will be looking to cement their spot in the automatic Champions League qualification positions, while BVB are just six points off Europa League qualification despite sitting in 10th position. My name is Tom Webber, and I will be guiding you through all the action.
Although Gladbach suffered a shock DFB-Pokal exit at the hands of Arminia Bielefeld in midweek, Lucien Favre’s side have won three consecutive Bundesliga matches, including a 2-0 victory away at leaders Bayern Munich, and are unbeaten in their last seven. Dortmund, meanwhile, had their seven-game undefeated Bundesliga streak ended by the Bavarian giants last time out, though they recovered by eliminating Hoffenheim from the cup in midweek.
GLADBACH TEAM NEWS: Christoph Kramer, who scored an unbelievable own goal to consign his team to a 1-0 defeat when the pair met earlier this seasons, is suspended so Havard Nordtveit comes into the midfield. Martin Stanzl's injury means Roel Brouwers continues in the centre of defence alongside Alvaro Dominguez, while Thorgan Hazard makes way for Fabian Johnson on the left side of midfield and Raffael comes back in for Andre Hahn.
DORTMUND TEAM NEWS: Mats Hummels and Marco Reus only returned to training on Friday having sat out the DFB-Pokal quarter-final victory over Hoffenheim through injury, but only the former is in the matchday squad today. He takes the place of Erik Durm in defence, with Sokratis Papastathopoulos moving to the right-back position. Sven Bender sits out through injury so Sebastian Kehl, the hero of midweek, continues in the centre of midfield, while Roman Weidenfeller comes back into the starting line-up.
There is very little separating these two sides historically in the Bundesliga. They have met 85 times in the German top flight, with Gladbach winning 28 encounters and Dortmund holding a slight advantage having been victorious on 29 occasions. However, BVB have won just nine of their 42 league visits to face the Foals.
The teams are out on the pitch at Borussia-Park, so kick off will be upon us in just a few short moments!
HALF TIME - Gladbach 2-0 Dortmund: The Foals took the lead inside 30 seconds as Wendt slammed home a follow-up from a Johnson shot. BVB controlled possession thereafter but lacked any urgency when pushing forward. Gladbach soaked up the pressure before hitting on the break for their second, which was scored by Raffael. A big 45 minutes still to come, so be sure to stay tuned.
FULL TIME - Gladbach 3-1 Dortmund: The Foals hold onto third position with an impressive victory over Klopp's men. They took the lead inside 30 seconds through Wendt and never looked like losing after that point. Raffael and Nordtveit added to their tally, with Herrmann proving instrumental on the day, before Gundogan pulled one back for the visitors late on.
Gladbach move to within four points of second-placed Wolfsburg, who take on Hamburg later today, while Dortmund could potentially drop back into the bottom half following that result.
That is all we have time for this afternoon. Thanks for joining me, Tom Webber, and have a great day.
