Kondogbia slashes a long-range effort off target for the second time in this game, and that last one had desperation written all over it. The upcoming goal-kick should also provide Juventus with enough to do to to see out the remaining seconds of the additional period.
90' +1
Into the first of three added minutes here at the Juventus Stadium, and Monaco are trying to make a late surge towards the home side's goal. However, the Old Lady's defence is built for moments like this, and they are soaking up all the late pressure with consummate ease.
89'
Monaco have looked shot of ideas for a long while now. Again, this isn't the worst scoreline in the world for them to bring into the second leg, but they'd have expected more from the chances that they created. Professional job this from the Bianconeri to navigate a first-leg clash with potential banana peels all over the place.
87'
Matheus Carvalho enters the game and replaces A. Martial.
S. Sturaro enters the game and replaces R. Pereyra.
The tempo of the match has been broken up by these substitutions, which will suit Juventus just fine. There's more to come too, as Pereyra is replaced by Sturaro, while Martial's ultimately frustrating evening is at an end, with Matheus Carvalho coming on in his place.
85'
Vidal and Abdennour both go full-blooded for a bouncing ball, and it nearly ends up a painful one for the Monaco defender, who just about avoids the cleats of the Chilean. No malice in that one though, just two competitive players refusing to give an inch.
83'
A. Matri enters the game and replaces Álvaro Morata.
Morata's evening is at an end, and despite it not being his most effervescent outing, he's played his role, winning the all-important spot kick. Matri will enter the fray for the closing stages.
81'
Juventus have been focused on holding onto their one-goal advantage for a long while now. It would be a hard-won victory for them and it only came via a slow and lumbering defensive reaction from Carvalho, who fouled Morata to concede the penalty that still separates these sides.
79'
Vidal has been spotted putting in some real work in defence in the second half, and he does superbly to win the ball off Ferreira Carrasco down the flank. What's more, he sparks his side forward on the break, releasing Lichtsteiner down the right, who in turn crosses to the back post where Morata nearly arrives in time to profit!
77'
Is there anything left for Monaco? To be quite honest, they will only have themselves to blame if they end the first leg without an away goal on the board. The chances have been there, but the finishing certainly has not. Just about 13 minutes to go here in Turin.
75'
First substitution of the game from Allegri, who decides that Pirlo's played enough on his return from injury. On comes Barzagli, and that looks like Juve will switch to their Conte-esque 3-5-2 formation for the closing stages of this tie, with Barzagli joining his brothers in arms Chiellini and Bonucci at the back.
Minute
Description
74'
A. Barzagli enters the game and replaces A. Pirlo.
73'
OFF TARGET AGAIN! Monaco's radar has been busted in this game, with Berbatov the beneficiary of a free header inside the area from a corner, but he can't do much more than glance it wide of the top corner. What an introduction that would have been for the Bulgarian!
71'
D. Berbatov enters the game and replaces A. Raggi.
Interesting swap for Jardim here, as he hauls off his right-back Raggi and throws on Berbatov for the final 20 minutes or so. The initial signs are that Fabinho will slot into the vacated spot in the backline, while Berbatov will join Martial up top, forming a 4-4-2.
69'
There's a brief Monaco flurry as they try to harry the Juve back four into a turnover. They succeed and work the ball to Ferreira Carrasco, who has a crack from long distance, but misses the target completely. It's become something of a recurring theme for him tonight.
67'
NOT TOO FAR WIDE! Morata skips into space some 25 yards for goal and decides to have a pop, but it skids about two or three feet wide of the target. Subasic looked to have had it covered in any case. He's not done a whole lot wrong tonight, the Monaco keeper.
65'
Juve are doing what they need to at the moment, holding onto possession but not risking much with their back four. Monaco have usually been dangerous when they've been able to isolate their attackers against Juve's defenders on the counterattack.
63'
BUFFON HAD TO BE SURE! Kondogbia scored with a long-range cracker against Arsenal in the first leg of the previous round, and he attempts to make lightning strike twice with another piledriver. However, it's a bit too central, giving the Juve keeper the opportunity to stick a palm up to help it over the crossbar.
61'
One-nil is far from the worst score for Monaco to take into the second leg, but given the chances that they have created, you get the sense that they will feel a little miffed if they don't depart Turin with an away goal in the bag. They've never won on Italian soil in their history.
59'
That goal will come as a massive relief for the home side. Monaco showed through Silva earlier in the half that they still have the capability to create danger, so it's important for the Bianconeri to have a cushion, however slight, to play with. Just over half an hour to go.
57'
Penalty goal scored by A. Vidal for Juventus!
NO MISTAKE FROM VIDAL! Fired right into the top corner from the Chilean, with Subasic sprawling in the opposite direction. Juventus have the lead!
55'
Ricardo Carvalho gets yellow.
JUVENTUS HAVE A PENALTY! Pirlo searches out Morata inside the area with a delightful clip, but the striker has Carvalho on his back. The Portuguese defender clips the Spaniard on his heels, and goes down. The referee awards the spot kick, but opts against a red for Carvalho, letting him off with just a caution.
54'
MASSIVE CHANCE FOR SILVA! He's been on the pitch for only a few moments but he nearly breaks the deadlock! He's picked out on the left side on a great Monaco break, but with plenty of time and space, he can't beat Buffon at his near post! Good keeping again.
53'
This game has been competitive without ever meandering into malicious territory, but the referee has been a fair bit busier in this half, with some scrappy fouls piling up in the middle of the park.
52'
Monaco have been forced into a change here, perhaps about 10 minutes or so earlier than they would have liked. Dirar is clearly unable to proceed here, and Bernardo Silva, the man he originally replaced in the starting XI, has been quickly readied to take his place.
51'
Bernardo Silva enters the game and replaces N. Dirar.
50'
Not to be outdone, Juve create a shooting opportunity of their own, and once again, it's Vidal on the end of it. The Chilean midfielder lets fly from a long way out, but it's right down the throat of Subasic in the end. At least he got it on target this time.
48'
Monaco have come out of the blocks quickly here, and already threaten via Moutinho's corner, but Raggi's header is nowhere near the target. No changes to report from the break, with both coaches waiting to see if their half-time instructions have had any effect.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
VIDAL SPURNS A SITTER! Tevez turns provider this time, hurling a wonderful ball over the top of the defence for Vidal to chase beyond his marker. He's got only Subasic to beat and shapes to curl it home with his right foot, but gets it wrong, missing the target! His look of frustration tells its own story - those kind of chances don't deserve to be passed up!
44'
No dice from the set piece, which is dealt with well by the Monaco defence. I can't imagine there being much stoppage time here at the Juventus Stadium. This first leg has just flown by so far.
43'
Moutinho is penalized for a foul on Morata, and this presents Juventus with an interesting opportunity from the set piece. It's just about in the shooting range of Pirlo, although it's at enough of an angle for him to curl one towards the back post for a teammate to attack.
41'
The last 20 minutes or so have been far more competitive but a bit sparse in terms of goalscoring chances. Juventus are getting a run for their money here from the plucky Ligue 1 outfit, who have countered well and held some real discipline in their defensive ranks.
39'
Martial does well to fight for an out-ball from his defence, but he has Chiellini for company. What ensues is an almighty tussle for supremacy down the left, with the striker appearing to have the upper hand for a second. However, the defender shrugs him off the ball inside the area, and he held just enough back so that the referee didn't rule it more than a shoulder-to-shoulder challenge. Good defending in the end, but another sign of Martial's value to the Monaco team.
37'
Not a surprise to see Juventus dominating the ball almost in its entirety, with the Bianconeri holding exactly three quarters of possession since the opening whistle. What they've accomplished with it is another matter entirely, and I daresay that Monaco have had the most dangerous chances, despite seeing only a quarter of the ball.
35'
Abdennour is caught with his hand in the cookie jar and is robbed of the ball by Vidal near the corner of the box. Monaco are outnumbered for a second, but the time it takes for Juve to work the ball into a more central position is enough for them to reinforce their ranks at the back, which in turn sees the chance dissipate into nothing.
33'
Ferreira Carrasco is back down at the other end to give a reminder of Monaco's attacking threat, but once again, the shot is devoid of any real accuracy, and Buffon is not troubled.
31'
Juventus are starting to get more and more shots away at the opposition goal, with Vidal the latest to have a crack. However, he misses the target by a country mile. Both teams have created combined shooting opportunities practically in double figures, but the end product has been lacking.
29'
Much better from the Bianconeri in the past few minutes, as they look more like their usual selves. Was that Monaco flurry just a flash in the pan, or do the visitors have more of the same attacking endeavour in them? I'd put my money on the latter.
27'
MASSIVE CHANCE! Marchisio keeps a pass from Tevez alive and goes to work with Pereyra down the left. The Italian then hooks a dangerous cross to the back post where the Argentine striker is in position to strike, but he digs a volley into the turf, giving a relieved Subasic a routine save to make!
25'
Juve are back in control of possession, but the organization of the Monaco defence is impressive, preventing the hosts from finding any space in and around the 18-yard area. It's going to take something special to break down the visiting side's defence.
23'
What has impressed me is the pressing from the Monaco front three. The Juve back line has been bailed out more than once by whistles from the referee after some legal-looking tussles with the opposition attackers. You would always fancy the visitors on the break if their front line is able to win the ball off the Bianconeri defence.
21'
Still goalless here at the Juventus Stadium, but it's not really a reflection of what has gone on. The home side started with a bang, dominating the first seven or eight minutes, but since then, it's been all Monaco, who have peppered away at Buffon's goal.
19'
Decent aerial opportunity for Kurzawa, who finds space between two black-and-white shirts to sneak a header toward goal, but he misses the target. At some point, the visitors need to bury one of these chances because I can't see Juve being this sloppy for the entirety of this match.
18'
Moutinho is the latest to have a crack for the guests, but Buffon put his hands up to signal that the shot was clear of his goal as soon as it left the Portuguese's feet. Monaco were widely considered the weakest side left in the last eight but it's Juve who look like the underdogs here, on their own patch no less! We're set for a thrilling tie, folks.
16'
Martial's pace is causing problems for the Juventus defence, and it's already looking like a vital outlet for the visiting side on the counter. Dirar and Ferreira Carrasco are also no slouches themselves. It's a similar strategy which saw Arsenal dismantled at the Emirates - Monaco are looking to kill the opposition with speed and numbers on the break.
14'
JUST WIDE OF THE MARK! Monaco have suddenly caught Juventus all at sea, and Ferreira-Carrasco is the man on the end of their opportunity again. He tries to curl one for the far corner from the edge of the D, and a nick off Vidal nearly helps it on its way, but for another fine save from Buffon! Excellent spell from the visitors!
12'
MASSIVE LET OFF FOR JUVENTUS! Somehow, Martial works the ball to Ferreira Carrasco inside the area, and he has the step on the last defender! He takes aim from no more than 12 yards, but it's too close to Buffon, who thwarts it! The Juve keeper truly should have had no chance from that range - will Monaco rue that miss at some point?
10'
Monaco orchestrate their first buildup since the match started, and Kurzawa is presented with a shooting chance from about 25 yards. He gets tons of power behind the effort, but it's at least two feet off the target. Still, not a bad attempt, all things considered.
8'
SUBASIC GETS A TASTE! Tevez lets fly from the top of the box and it's heading for the bottom corner, but the keeper is excellently positioned, and can smother the ball low down. It's been pretty much one-way traffic since the first whistle, with Juve in complete control.
7'
FIRST CHANCE! Marchisio hooks a wonderful raking pass to Morata at the back post, and the Spaniard is unmarked! However, he hits it first time on the volley, and gets it all wrong, hammering it well over the top. The offside flag then renders the miss a moot point.
5'
The home team have generally been more accomplished in possession, and their latest foray sees Evra work a neat pass into the box for Tevez, who is simply surrounded by too many defenders to shape for the shot in time. Still, that buildup was a treat to watch.
3'
Pereyra skips down the left-hand side but can't hook his cross into the box, thanks to a good block from the defence. Down at the other end, Fabinho's attempted through pass to Ferreira Carrasco is nothing but breakfast for Buffon, who was quick off his line.

Off we go then!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Champions League quarter-finals! Tonight, we're in Turin as Juventus host Monaco in the first leg of their last-eight clash. The domestically dominant Bianconeri have been craving European success in recent seasons, and they face a Monaco side in high spirits after dumping Arsenal out of the competition in the previous round. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action.
Juve are 12 points clear at the top of the Serie A table, and are only formalities away from a fourth straight title. It's become almost robotic the way they keep grinding out domestic result after result. Behind a miserly defence, the Old Lady have conceded just 15 times in the league this season, and have kept clean sheets in six of their last seven matches. They disposed of 2013 finalists Borussia Dortmund quite handily in the previous round, and are considered favourites to advance to the last four from this tie.
Both teams are seeking a last-four berth for the first time in over a decade. The semi-finals, incidentally, was the stage where these two sides faced each other for the only time in their history. In the 1997-98 tournament, the Bianconeri defeated les Rouges et Blancs by an aggregate score of 6-4, though they would lose the final 1-0 to Real Madrid. Monaco have never won in Italy, and to make matters worse, they face a Juventus side who have won all 10 of their knockout ties against French opposition.
Monaco are still in the hunt for the Ligue 1 title, sitting four points off league leaders Paris Saint-Germain, who have played one game less. The side from the principality have racked up eight games unbeaten in the French top flight, and have the benefit of low expectation to relieve pressure - something that their opponents must be feeling in spades. And as they showed during their 3-3 aggregate win over Arsenal in the round of 16, Leonardo Jardim's men have the capacity to surprise.
Juventus welcome back Andrea Pirlo to the XI after he missed the best past of the last two months with injury. Also returning from a knock is leading scorer Carlos Tevez, who replaces Fernando Llorente, which in turn gives Alvaro Morata an opportunity in attack. Gianluigi Buffon and defensive regulars Patrice Evra and Leonardo Bonucci are back in the starting lineup after they were rested during the shock 1-0 loss to Parma over the weekend.
Jardim has chosen Nabil Dirar to start on the right side of his front three in place of Bernardo Silva, and he will flank Anthony Martial along with Yannick Ferreira Carrasco. The experienced pair of Ricardo Carvalho and Aymen Abdennour will be busy tonight against the prolific Tevez in the centre of the visitors back four. Meanwhile, Fabinho has been handed a start in place of another veteran Champions League campaigner, Jeremy Toulalan.
And that will do it for the first half, as the referee sends both teams down the tunnel for the break. It's been a decidedly even affair, with both sides having spells where they looked capable of a breakthrough. Monaco, and Ferreira Carrasco in particular, were denied twice by Buffon, while there were chances at the other end for both Tevez and Vidal. However, neither goal has been breached yet. Stay tuned for the restart in just a bit.
The referee ends matters at the Juventus Stadium, and it's advantage Bianconeri at what is essentially half-time in this quarter-final tie. Arturo Vidal's emphatic penalty was the difference, with Monaco surely regretting a number of spurned opportunities. Take nothing away from the home side though, who attacked when they needed to and closed out the match in a professional manner. The second leg will take place next week.
That's all from me, I've been Keeghann Sinanan and it's been a pleasure!
