Description
120'
Sokratis fails to turn a header on target, before Bayern break down the other end and force Langerak to claim a cross. This looks set to go to penalties!
118'
Lewandowski looks to have picked up a knock, with the Polish striker cradling his head - it could be a concussion. Bayern are forced to continue with only ten men on the field, meaning we have numerical parity for now. It could be dangerous to put the goalscorer back into the fray.
116'
Another huge chance missed for Bayern! Lewandowski is clattered by Langerak as the two challenge for the ball, leaving Schweinsteiger and Gotze to pick up the pieces. The latter hooks a shot wide with the aid of a deflection, with the Poland international left on the turf winded.
114'
Bayern are controlling the vast majority of possession, but two banks of four stand in the hosts' way! A dangerous delivery is flighted into the box, but Schweinsteiger can merely direct a header onto Langerak's knee! The midfielder really had to place that either side of the goalkeeper.
113'
M. Benatia gets yellow.
112'
Less than 10 minutes stand between either of these sides and the DFP Pokal final, with Dortmund still willing to commit forward bodies on the break. Reus nearly manages to scamper into the box, but is denied by a last-ditch tackle from Boateng.
110'
Guardiola receives a warning from the referee, due to some wild gesticulation on the touchline. The Spanish coach is now expecting his side to push on for the winner while Dortmund sit back and hope to hold on for penalties.
108'
K. Kampl gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! Kampl walks for the away side, picking up two yellow cards in the space of about half an hour on the field. Dortmund have to face the final 10 minutes a man light.
106'
We are back underway in the second half of extra time! Penalties are looming in Bavaria, with Bayern's chances becoming more and more elusive as the game has progressed.
105'
HALF TIME IN EXTRA TIME! Benatia looks to be a little bit worse for wear after colliding with Neuer, but this game will continue until 120 minutes regardless. Schweinsteiger and Aubameyang have had chances, but still this tie is deadlocked at 1-1.
104'
Another half chance goes begging for Bayern! Gotze manages to clip a cross back from the left byline, but Weiser isn't present at the back post to turn it home. Dortmund then break up the other end, with an Aubameyang cross being dealt with by a combination of Neuer and Benatia! Bit of miscommunication there.
102'
What a miss from Schweinsteiger! The resulting free-kick delivery is lifted into the box brilliantly by Alonso, but the German midfielder's header floats over the crossbar and onto the roof of the net!
101'
S. Papastathopoulos gets yellow.
100'
Lahm attempts to break down the right-hand side, but the Bayern captain can't quite stretch enough to take a telling first touch. Misplaced passes and tough tackling has been the theme of extra time, with Sokratis then picking up a yellow card for a whole-heartedly cynical tackle on Schweinsteiger.
98'
Schmelzer puts the ball behind for a Bayern corner, which is flighted in and then headed wide by Benatia. The Moroccan defender has been an aerial threat in both boxes, but Langerak continues to be relatively unchallenged of late in goal.
96'
Bayern work a corner short, before Gotze attempts to break in behind the visiting defence courtesy of a pass from Alonso, but the German midfielder isn't able to make anything happen. The start of extra time has been rather cagey, with neither side wanting to make the first mistake.
94'
Alonso tries to curl a right-footed delivery into the box, but Durm covers across to head clear. Bernat then tries to drive through the heart of the midfield, but Gundogan makes a good tackle to deny the Spaniard.
92'
Kehl has been introduced for the away side, with Klopp perhaps looking to solidify his midfield. Weiser then tries to break down the right flank, but sees an attempted cross shepherded out of play by Kampl.
91'
We are underway in the first-half of extra time in Bavaria! Normal time was fairly evenly matched, with Dortmund able to push on and threaten to score a winner during the final 20 minutes, meaning that Bayern need to find a foothold in this game once again.
90' +4
FULL TIME IN NORMAL TIME! This cup tie will go the full 120-minute distance, with the two teams unable to separate themselves! Lewandowski and Aubameyang's goals extend this contest for an extra half an hour!
90' +3
Lahm tries to scoop a cross into the box, but the Germany international's attempted delivery is headed clear of the danger zone. This contest looks to be heading to extra time!

90'
S. Kehl enters the game and replaces S. Bender.
K. Kampl gets yellow.
Gotze breaks down the left flank, before dancing into the box, but Bender tracks back well to deny the former Die Schwarzgelben midfielder. Kampl then picks up a booking for dragging back Alonso, with Bayern able to direct a free-kick delivery into the box as a result. Langerak collects, despite the Spaniard putting in a dangerous ball.
88'
Weiser breaks to the right byline, before hooking a spiralling cross onto the roof of the net! Langerak was nearly caught off his line, but the Australia international will have been relieved to see the ball head over the target.
86'
Close call for Bayern! Reus manages to wriggle his way through a horde of bodies and into the box, but Neuer and Boateng combine to deny the Germany international as he looks to shoot. Dortmund are looking threatening in the dying embers of normal time.
84'
M. Götze enters the game and replaces A. Robben.
Bad news for Robben and Bayern! The Dutchman goes into a hard tackle and immediately is pulled from the field of play, with Gotze his replacement. The substitute immediately makes his way downstairs for treatment. Meanwhile, out on the Allianz turf, Sokratis guides a header wide of the right-hand upright!
83'
K. Kampl enters the game and replaces J. Błaszczykowski.
Fantastic save from Neuer! The Germany international gets down smartly to the left, to push away a powerful effort from Reus! That was brilliant goalkeeping from the Bayern man! Blaszczykowski is then withdrawn by Klopp, with Kampl introduced.
82'
Less than 10 minutes remain at the Allianz Arena, with extra time looking to be on the cards at the moment. If needs be, these two sides will go through an additional half an hour of battle, before heading into a potential penalty shootout.
80'
Just wide from Mkhitaryan due to a decent save from Neuer! The Germany goalkeeper manages to scoop a powerful effort beyond the right-hand post, but it wasn't totally convincing! The resulting corner is easily cleared, with Bayern looking to be rattled following that equaliser.
78'
Almost a huge chance for Dortmund! Reus tries to race in behind the hosts' back three, but Boateng tracks back well to nod the ball back to his goalkeeper. Moments later, Bender earns himself a free kick, but the visitors' delivery is headed away from the danger zone.
77'
Schweinsteiger is thrown into action for the remaining minutes, with Muller withdrawn after a rather frustrating evening. Dortmund are suddenly in a very good position heading into the final 10, with Bayern having no option to push for a winner.
76'
B. Schweinsteiger enters the game and replaces T. Müller.
75'
P. Aubameyang has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by H. Mkhitaryan.
GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! DORTMUND EQUALISE WITH A QUARTER OF AN HOUR LEFT ON THE CLOCK! Mkhitaryan clips a ball across the face of goal, with Aubameyang able to slide in at the back post and angle a shot goalward! Neuer tries to keep it out, but it already crossed the line, which the linesman correctly awarding their equaliser!
74'
Weiser takes a quick throw in, picking out Lewandowski, with the Poland international going to ground claiming a push from Sokratis. There was contact, but it was incredibly soft of the goalscorer to go down.
72'
Xabi Alonso gets yellow.
Alonso is awarded a yellow card for a cynical trip on Reus, with the former Real Madrid forward opting to be tactical in his fouling. Dortmund whip the resulting free kick into the box, but a flicked header can only force Neuer into a very easy save at his near post.
70'
H. Mkhitaryan enters the game and replaces S. Kagawa.
Mkhitaryan is introduced in place of Kagawa by Klopp, with Dortmund struggling to create anything offensively. Robben is being given a free role in the centre of the field, with Weiser retaining his role out on the right-hand side. The Allianz Arena may just be getting a little bit nervy as we head into the business end of proceedings.
68'
A. Robben enters the game and replaces Thiago Alcântara.
Robben is thrown into the fray by Guardiola, with the Netherlands international able to help propel Die Roten into a cup final in their quest for a treble. Dortmund are attempting to piece together some moves from deep areas, but the visitors' attacking four are remaining fairly quiet.
66'
Robben is stripped off and ready to go for the home side, with the home crowd responding to the sight of the flying Dutchman. Guardiola clearly isn't happy with merely a one-goal lead heading into the final 20 minutes, with Thiago looking as though he's harbouring a knock.
64'
Rafinha gets yellow.
Rafinha picks himself up a booking for a rash sliding tackle on Blaszczykowski, despite the Brazil international protesting his innocence. Moments later, the defender puts his own team under a great deal of pressure, hooking a dangerous pass across the face of goal to Boateng. Fortunately, his teammate isn't flustered in front of Aubameyang.
62'
Lahm releases a pass in behind Sokratis, but the Greek defender keeps stride with Muller before putting the ball into touch. Bayern maintain some pressure and then earn themselves a corner, which is half cleared, before Bernat lashes a half volley wide of the target.
60'
Only half an hour is left on the clock for the away side to recover, with a draw possibly desired by Klopp. Though keeping the scoreline down is impressive in the Allianz Arena, Dortmund have to be confident of finding the back of the net before the end of the clash.
58'
Good save from Langerak! The Australian goalkeeper gets down to his left-hand side smartly, with Bayern really pressing on in the early stages of the second half. Should Die Roten net a second goal, however, this contest will probably look beyond Die Schwarzgelben's capabilities.
56'
LEWANDOWSKI HITS THE BAR! Bernat streaks down the left-hand side, before chopping inside and poking a pass into the path of his Polish teammate. The former Dortmund striker places a finish out of the goalkeeper's reach, but it cannons off the crossbar and away from danger. Muller tries to follow up, but is denied by Schmelzer, with the left-back claiming he used his arm in the process!
54'
Bernat tries to break down the left-hand side, but the former Valencia defender is forced back away from goal. Lewandowski and Thiago then try to combine on the edge of the penalty area, but the Poland international is penalised for a push on Sokratis.
52'
Reus breaks down the right-hand side, before cutting in from the flank, but the former Gladbach attacking midfielder fires wide of the right-hand post! He claims a deflection and gets a corner for his troubles, but Dortmund again waste the set piece. Klopp's men are looking slightly brighter.
50'
Bayern move the ball well in midfield, with Weiser and Bernat continuing to stretch play on either touchline. The German wide man tries to find Lewandowski with a long throw down the right-hand side, but Hummels covers across to deny the Poland international. Moments later, the Polish forward is picked out in the box, but Sokratis heads clear.
48'
Dortmund win a free kick on the left-hand side, but the set piece is wasted by the away team. Klopp's men can't be wasteful with their opportunities in front of goal, given that they are so rare. Muller races into the clear after great play down the right from Weiser, but Langerak makes himself big to make a top save!
46'
We are back underway in the second half at the Allianz Arena! Die Roten have a one-goal advantage to protect, with Lewandowski currently playing the role of pantomime villain in the eyes of Dortmund's travelling fans.
44'
Lewandowski spots Langerak off his line and tries an audacious 30-yard lob on the half volley! The ball rockets over the Australian goalkeeper and just inches wide of the left-hand post! That was nearly a goal for the ages from the Poland international! Moments later, Weiser shoots wide after cutting inside from the right.
42'
Boateng spreads the ball out to the right-hand side, but Weiser isn't able to control under pressure. There are less than five minutes left in the first half, with Dortmund struggling to generate any opportunities.
40'
Dortmund are struggling to break out of their own half, with plenty of yellow and black shirts pegged back. Schmelzer is forced to concede yet another corner due to a run from Weiser, with Bayern racking up corners in the opening 45 minutes. Alonso whips it in, but Hummels nods clear at the near post.
38'
Aubameyang is found by a back-post cross, but the Dortmund striker isn't able to divert a header goalwards. Less than 10 minutes remain until the break, with Guardiola's men retaining the ball and ensuring that Die Schwarzgelben struggle to grow into the game.
36'
Bayern are continuing to keep the ball well, with Dortmund being asked to do plenty of chasing. Die Roten's formation is causing all kinds of problems, with Bernat continuing to drive forward and ask huge questions of Durm. The full-back is having a torrid evening.
34'
Blaszczykowski whips a cross in from the right-hand side, but Boateng and Benatia are in no danger of being beaten to the ball. Moments later, Dortmund attempt to use Aubameyang as a wall, but the Gabonese striker's touch lets him down. Moments later, Weiser breaks down the right, before a cross from the German wide man is shouldered off target by Bernat.
32'
Poor pass from Reus! The former Gladbach midfielder manages to intercept a Rafinha pass, before attempting to clip a through ball into a space for Aubameyang and Kagawa to chase. It gets blocked, however, with Dortmund continuing to be frustrated in front of goal.
29'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
Muller is found on the periphery of the box, but the Germany international's first touch lets him down and Dortmund clear. Moments later, Lewandowski is fed behind a high visiting line, but strikes the post!
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! NOT TO WORRY! LEWANDOWSKI GIVES THE HOSTS THE LEAD! After striking the upright, the Polish striker keeps the ball in play, before sliding a passed finish in between defender and goalkeeper to give Bayern the lead from a tight angle! No signs of muted celebration, either!
27'
As we approach the half-hour mark, Bayern continue to look the dominant force, with Dortmund having to rely on opposition mistakes. Aubameyang has only been involved on a couple of occasions, with Reus, Kagawa and Blaszczykowski merely tools for pressing.
25'
Lahm is robbed of the ball in midfield, leading to a dangerous Dortmund break! Aubameyang is found on the edge of the penalty area, before the former St. Etienne striker hammers a shot into a ruck of defenders! It only takes one mistake on the ball from Die Roten and their opponents could be in!
23'
The home side are in control of this contest at the moment, with Dortmund struggling to transition upfield without misplacing passes. Muller is fed the ball on the edge of the box, but the Germany international loses his balance and is easily tackled. Weiser and Bernat continue to have all of the time in the world out wide.
21'
Just wide from Benatia! The former Roma defender manages to rise well to meet a free kick from the left-hand side, but plants his attempted header just wide of the right upright! Langerak was rooted to the spot!
20'
Bayern are looking the better of the two teams in possession, with Bernat causing all kinds of problems. The Spaniard beats Durm, but the German defender is covered well. On second viewing, Weiser's penalty appeal looks to be intentional simulation.
18'
No penalty for Bayern! Weiser scampers into the penalty area, before going down in a tangle with two defenders, but the referee isn't interested! The young wide man doesn't look too impressed with the official's decision, but there didn't appear to be much in it.
16'
Sokratis and Bender combine well at the near post to deny Lewandowski, but Bayern earn themselves yet another corner from which Muller can threaten. Alonso delivers, but Schmelzer rises well to clear Dortmund's lines. Guardiola's men are looking much the brighter of the two sides thus far.
15'
Aubameyang shows a real turn of pace to worry Rafinha, but after bustling powerfully past the Brazilian defender, the Gabon international's first touch lets him down massively. That is a possible weak link for Dortmund to exploit throughout this contest. Lahm is then fed into the penalty area, before sliding in to direct a shot straight at Langerak.
14'
Durm denies Bernat with an excellent sliding tackle, which concedes a Bayern corner, with the Dortmund defender appears to pick up a knock in the process. The set piece is met brilliantly by Muller in full stride, but the Germany forward guides his powerful header a few yards wide of the post!
12'
Lewandowski is nearly picked out brilliantly by a lofted pass over the Dortmund back four, but the Poland international's attempted flicked header is easily collected by Langerak. Bayern have been much better in possession thus far, with Bernat and Weiser able to find plenty of space in wide areas against the visitors' back four and two defensive midfielders.
10'
Gundogan tries an ambitious switch out to the right-hand side, but Durm is unable to make enough ground up out wide to catch up with the pass before it zips out of play for a goal kick. Die Schwarzgelben have been unable to get anything clicking offensively.
8'
Rafinha feeds Lewandowski, who keeps the ball moving out to Bernat. The former Valencia loops a cross towards the back post, with Weiser able to control, but the 21-year-old can't create anything in a reasonable pocket of space.
6'
Bayern attempt to break down the right-hand side through Bernat, but Durm keeps pace with the Spaniard and defuses the situation. Bayern have been willing to allow Die Schwarzgelben the ball in the opening stages, but aimless balls through to Aubameyang are the only things that the visitors have conjured up thus far.
4'
Bayern win themselves a corner out on the right-hand side, with Alonso delivering it. Muller is picked out by the Spaniard, but the forward's header is too tame to cause any problems. Thiago uses a nice piece of skill to juggle the ball over Schmelzer's head moments later, but eventually loses control and concedes a goal kick.
2'
Bayern are indeed playing 3-5-2 from the start, with Rafinha filling in as a left-sided centre-back. Reus nearly manages to break in behind the hosts' defence from the off, but Benatia covers across to deny the Germany international. Weiser and Bernat are providing the width in midfield.
1'
We are underway in the first half at the Allianz Arena! Bayern are in their customary red and blue home kit, while Dortmund don yellow and black. A place in the DFB Pokal final awaits the victor!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the first of two DFB Pokal semi-final fixtures, as Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena. The hosts haven't been in convincing form of late, with Die Schwarzgelben managing two convincing wins over Paderborn and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga during the same period. Pep Guardiola's side did confirm their title win at the weekend, but required a second-leg comeback to continue their Champions League run after a terrible performance away against Porto.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be guiding you through all of the action from Bavaria, as Die Roten look to keep their hopes of a treble alive by defeating Dortmund. Jurgen Klopp will be looking to mark his final season in charge of the visitors with a cup win, with the former Mainz coach definitely providing the most challenge to Bayern during their current period of domestic and European dominance. Injuries have stunted the hosts' form of late, though Arjen Robben has returned to training in the last week.
TEAM NEWS: Mehdi Benatia starts after injury for the hosts, with Dante dropping to the bench. Arjen Robben and Bastian Schweinsteiger are included among the substitutes after returning to first-team training, with Guardiola suddenly having much more depth at his disposal. Thiago Alcantara continues in midfield, with Mitchell Weiser also enjoying minute at the expense of his recovering teammates. There is potential for the Bavarian giants to line up in a 3-5-2 formation, with Rafinha as a right-sided central defender, or a 4-3-3 system with Weiser and Thomas Muller in wide areas.
TEAM NEWS: Roman Weidenfeller misses out once again for Dortmund, with Mitchell Langerak deputising in between the posts. Erik Durm fills in at right-back for the visitors, with Sokratis pushed centrally, meaning that there is no place in the 11 for Neven Subotic. Shinji Kagawa will figure in behind the lone striker of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with star forward Marco Reus being deployed on the left-hand side of attack. Jakub Blaszczykowski is preferred to Kevin Kampl on the opposite flank once again.
HALF TIME! The first half ends immediately on the 45-minute mark, with Lewandowski's goal the only difference between the two sides. The former Dortmund striker has come back to haunt his former employers, with Die Schwarzgelben having it all to do if they are to turn things around and progress into the German cup final! Rejoin us in 10 minutes for all of the second-half action.
0-0! Lahm slips over and misses the target! The captain loses his footing and the hosts could be behind already.
0-1 DORTMUND! Gundogan slams a finish into the top-right corner, giving the away side the early lead.
0-1! ANOTHER SLIP! Alonso ends up on his rear end too, in exactly the same fashion that Lahm did! Dortmund can't believe their luck!
0-2 DORTMUND ARE TWO UP! Kehl slides a careful finish into the bottom-right corner, meaning that Die Schwarzgelben are comfortable ahead.
0-2 SAVED BY LANGERAK! Bayern have failed to convert their first three attempts, with the opposition goalkeeper guessing the right way and denying Gotze!
0-2! SAVED BY NEUER! The Germany international gets down brilliantly to his right-hand side, scrambling an acrobatic save clear of danger!
0-2! NEUER HITS THE BAR! The Bayern goalkeeper takes a penalty and lashes it against the bar! DORTMUND ARE THROUGH TO THE FINAL!
FULL TIME! Dortmund head into the DFB Pokal final, courtesy of a 2-0 penalty shootout win over Bayern! The two sides went the full way, after a 1-1 draw after extra time, but Die Roten failed to score from even one spot kick! That's all we have time for, I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
