It doesn't look like we are going to see any more goals tonight as both sides are waiting for the final whistle. Getafe could probably play until tomorrow morning and not score so probably best they just head on the flight back to the Spanish capital.
87'
Getafe are actually enjoying a small period of possession tonight but sadly it has came 87 minutes too late in order to make any kind of lasting impact on the game. I think the Barcelona players are already thinking of what seat they are going to take on the bus home.
85'
Only five minutes of normal time remaining so Getafe's hellish night can finally be over shortly. There is no doubt that Barcelona have took slight pity on their visitors in the second half, as this has been much more than a 6-0 scoreline for the Blaugrana.
83'
GREAT SAVE BY GUAITA! Messi clips a 25-yard free kick towards the left corner and the Getafe goalkeeper somehow manages to get across goal to palm the attempt behind for a corner kick! That really was an impressive stop!
81'
Barcelona have definitely took their foot off the gas here and that has mainly been due to the substitution of Xavi, who was so intent on creating a high tempo when on the ball. Having said that, there's no need at all to burst a gut in the search for more goals.
79'
Getafe have just been so poor in possession in dangerous areas and they just are not learning their lesson. Far too many lackadaisical touches and Barcelona have smelled blood just about every time in their pursuit of possession.
77'
Rafinha darts forward through the middle and finds himself fouled once, twice, three times by Alex Felip. The referee holds the whistle to his mouth to signal for a free kick but eventually plays the advantage, with Messi looking to burst into the box, but he is dispossessed by one of the defenders.
76'
Sergio Escudero enters the game and replaces Pedro León.
75'
Last change for Getafe here and it will see former Real Madrid man, Pedro Leon, trudge off the pitch to a chorus of boos from the home crowd due to his affiliations with Los Blancos. He'll be replaced by Sergio Escudero.
73'
Fredy Hinestroza hits the post! The Colombian manages to get in behind the Barcelona defence and manages to squeeze out a shot whilst under the attentions of Mathieu! It looks destined to find the corner but just unluckily bounces off the inside of the woodwork!

Description
71'
Suarez turns his marker sharply 25 yards out and finds a yard of space before whipping a right-footed strike towards goal. On this occasion the attempt lacks the same firepower as his second goal which means Guaita can get down to make the comfortable save. The Uruguayan offers a hand of apology to his team-mates.
69'
Third and final change from Enrique now and it will see Dani Alves come off to be replaced by Martin Montoya. The home crowd make no qualms about showing their appreciation for the Brazilian, who it is clear they want to stay in Catalunya past the end of his current contract.
68'
Martín Montoya enters the game and replaces Dani Alves.
67'
Messi receives the ball to feet on the edge of the area and attempts to dance his way into the penalty area, but in the end finds himself outnumbered by the Getafe defenders, who manage to work cohesively to stop the threat of the Argentine. Better defending from the visitors there.
65'
Álex Felip enters the game and replaces Juan Rodríguez.
Neymar collects the ball in the left channel and the Brazilian takes on a couple of defenders before smashing a strike towards the bottom left corner. It is actually well blocked at the front post but Suarez meets the deflection further out, only to volley a few yards over.
63'
Another change for Getafe now as Juan Rodriguez is finally taken out of the firing line in midfield. The 33-year-old has been chasing shadows for much of the match, and he'll be replaced by Alex Felip.
61'
Still not much signs of any resistance from Getafe despite that half chance for Ivan Lopez, who to be fair has actually displayed a presence in the Barca penalty box. Suarez and Messi now chasing hat-tricks, and with half an hour to go, you wouldn't bet against them both recording them.
59'
Pedro enters the game and replaces Xavi.
Second change of the match from Luis Enrique and it sees Xavi come off to a brilliant and deserved applause from the Camp Nou crowd. Now, with Pedro now on, that is four attackers including Messi, Suarez, and Neymar. Will the Argentine move back into midfield? Seems the most likely candidate.
57'
Miles, miles better from Getafe at the moment. Lopez collects the ball to feet inside the box and finds enough space to spin and whip a shot towards goal, which goes high and wide over the bar. Not the best, but cause for encouragement you would think.
55'
Pedro Leon finally manages to stand over a free kick to get a delivery into the box. The former Real Madrid winger stands a cross to the back post and Fredy chests down before looking to get a shot away, but Dani Alves is on hand to put behind for a corner.
53'
Mathieu gets himself into a sticky situation 30 yards from goal and loses the ball courtesy of Emi, but the striker's pass into the channel for Ivan Lopez is intercepted by Bartra, who covers well for his central defensive partner.
51'
I'm running out of superlatives to describe this Barca performance this evening. Sure, Getafe, have been desperately poor, but the Catalan side have been predatory in their chance-taking and finishing, with their build-up play being on the verge of perfection.
49'
Ivi López enters the game and replaces B. Diawara.
First change of the match from Getafe and it sees Baba come off to be replaced by Ivan Lopez, who is indeed a striker. Probably not the best came for him to come on and make an impact, but I'm sure he'll put in a decent shift up top.
47'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Suárez.
GOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! THIS JUST KEEPS GETTING MORE AND MORE IMPRESSIVE! Xavi, with his back to goal, manages to clip a pass to Messi in the inside right channel. The Argentine teases a strike once or twice then sends a curler right into the top bag! Sensational! Six-nil!
46'
Sergi Roberto enters the game and replaces Sergio Busquets.
We are back under way at Camp Nou and we have a half-time change to report! Busquets has been given a rest in the middle of the park, with Sergi Roberto slotting in just in front of the Barcelona defence. Not his usual position though so we may just see Xavi move back ever so slightly.
44'
Rafinha, to Busquets, to Xavi, to Neymar, to Messi, to Suarez, and all the way back again. It is scintillating possession from the hosts at the moment as they look to pass Getafe into submission once again.
42'
Poor old Getafe - where do they go from here?! Five-nil down and it is not even half-time against one of the best teams on the planet. The worst thing for the Madrid-based side is that everyone in the Barca team is eager to get involved and amongst the goals. Oh dear.
40'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Xavi.
GOOOOAAAALLLL!!! GOOOAAALLL!! GOOOOAALLL FOR BARCA!! What a display we are seeing from the Blaugrana! Messi exchanges a one-two with Neymar down the right wing and bursts forward before lashing a pass into Xavi, who cleverly flicks the ball into the path of Suarez. The Uruguayan finishes off the move with a wonderful finish into the top right corner! Incredible football! Five-nil!
38'
Xavi has been imperious in the middle of the park so far. As well as chipping in with a goal, the Barca captain has controlled the play with ease and ensured the transition from midfield to attack has been quick and incisive. Sign him up for next season!
36'
This scoreline may just depend on how hungry Barcelona are in attack and how much they want to save themselves for further matches. To be fair, however, they could easily put as many as they wanted past Getafe here and still be at 100% for the next match.
34'
What do you actually do if you are Getafe at the moment? Do you continue to sit back and be battered anyway or you decide to have a go and risk even more scoreline damage. You wouldn't want to be Pablo Franco Martin right now!
32'
The way the first couple of minutes played out, you could kind of see Barcelona putting in this type of display, but their quality going forward has been matched by Getafe's inability to defend at the back. A very, very, long game in store for the visitors!
30'
Xavi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Neymar.
GOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR BARCELONA! It is RAINING goals in Camp Nou! Xavi receives the ball from Neymar on the edge of the area and decides to have a crack at goal. The Barcelona captain then proceeds to curl a beauty into the top right corner! Guaita no chance! Four-nil! GAME OVER!
28'
Neymar has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Suárez.
GOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLL FOR BARCA! IS THIS GAME SEWED UP ALREADY?! Suarez slides a pass out wide and Neymar collects before typically cutting inside and easily drifting past Velazquez before lashing past the keeper! Three-nil!
27'
Barcelona are looking excellent here which does not bode well at all for this Getafe side who are already quite bereft of confidence at the moment. Is there any hope at all for the capital club even though we are not even 30 minutes in?
25'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Messi.
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! AND IT'S LUIS SUAREZ! Messi dinks a cross to the front post and the Uruguayan twists his body to get a sensational volley away! It looks like it comes off the outside of his foot before finding the top corner! Two-nil!
23'
Getafe make a decent break down the right wing as Fredy breaks the defensive Barca offside trap to eat up some space before hitting the byline. Baba is screaming for the cross whilst unmarked inside the box but the ball in from the Colombian cannons off Bartra and goes behind for the corner.
21'
Lago looks to drive down the left wing, only to be robbed of the ball by Messi. In the end the Getafe left-back is let off the hook as there didn't look to be too much in the challenge from the Argentine, which means the pressure is took off the away defence for the time being.
19'
Neymar cuts in from the left-hand side and looks to clip a pass over the top of the Getafe defence for Messi, who looks poised to take down and get a shot away, but the ball is just taken away from him at the last minute by the head of Velazquez who makes a good defensive clearance.
17'
Getafe have actually showed that they have a little something about themselves within the past couple of minutes, with Bravo called into action a couple of times. They need to capitalise on any kind of period of ascendancy, otherwise Barca will just pick them off in the final third.
15'
Unbelievable save from Bravo! The Chilean initially makes a makes by coming off his like too quickly, and Fredy takes advantage to lob the ball over him! The attempt from the Getafe attacker looks destined to nestle in the top corner but the goalkeeper retreats back and claws it away from right on the line!
13'
Rafinhaaaa! Not too far over! Xavi clips in a corner kick from the right-hand side and the former Celta midfielder drifts in unopposed to bullet a header towards goal, but it just goes an inch or two north of the bar! Unlucky!
11'
Unfortunately for Getafe fans, this does not look promising whatsoever. As I mentioned before, they did indeed start with a 4-4-2, but it is perhaps the most negative 4-4-2 you're ever likely to see. Barcelona have not broke a sweat whatsoever, and they already have their lead. This could be a long night for the capital club.
9'
Penalty goal scored by L. Messi for Barcelona!
GOOOAAALLLLLLLLLLL FOR BARCELONA!!! Messi steps up and wonderfully converts his penalty via a 'Panenka' finish! Can't recall him doing that one too often, but it has worked! One-nil!
8'
PENALTY KICK TO BARCELONA! Suarez looks to spin right on the painted line of the area but is clipped by Arroyo - the referee makes no hesitation and points straight to the spot!
6'
The Brazilian is involved in the action once again in these early stages as he latches on to a loose ball on the edge of the box to fire a strike towards goal. In the end it becomes a shot-come-cross but it evades everyone inside the box to flash wide of the right-hand post.
4'
Dani Alves collects the ball inside the box just down the right channel and immediately looks for one of the three attacks to his left. In the end he looks to catch out the keeper with a snap shot towards the bottom corner but Guaita is wise to it and makes the comfortable stop.
3'
From the get-go it does indeed look like Getafe are going with two up top with Baba and Emi, but at the moment it is all 11 men behind the ball as Barcelona typically start the match with a period of possession. Should be interesting to see if the visitors show a particular amount of attacking ambition.

We are under way at Camp Nou! Can Barcelona extend their league at the top of the table before Real Madrid take on Almeria tomorrow?
Good evening football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the Spanish Primera Division clash between Barcelona and Getafe from Camp Nou!
I'm Martin Macdonald, and I'll be taking you through the action!
With Real Madrid not featuring in La Liga until tomorrow, Luis Enrique's outfit have the opportunity tonight to open up a five-point gap at the top of the table between them and their Clasico rivals, who are situated in second place with 79 points from 33 matches. The Blaugrana are currently two ahead with 81 points taken.
Barcelona are still on course for a historic treble this season. As well as being the current leaders of their domestic league, they are in the Copa del Rey final versus Athletic Bilbao and were recently drawn against Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final.
In terms of domestic action, Enrique's men could not be in better form. The Catalan outfit extended their unbeaten run in the league to nine games on Saturday afternoon as they ran out comfortable 2-0 winners of city rivals Espanyol. Neymar and Lionel Messi were on the scoresheet once again in what were two wonderfully crafted team goals. It is up to the Getafe defence this evening to shut out that duo as well as the in-form Luis Suarez in the attacking Barca trident – if they all start!
Getafe are are currently placed relatively safely in the Spanish Primera Division in 13th, with 36 points taken from 33 matches. The Madrid-based outfit are seven points clear of the bottom three but will still be eager to force a strong end to the season so they are not hauled into a last-minute relegation battle.
Barcelona are unbeaten in all 10 previous home league meetings with Getafe and have only failed to score once in this run (0-0 in April 2008). Recent form in terms of wins does not make good reading for the away side tonight, but they can definitely take confidence from the fact that the corresponding fixture earlier in the season ended with them earning a point in a goalless draw at Coliseum Alfonso Perez in December.
Four changes in total for Barcelona this evening. Pique, Alba, Mascherano and Iniesta are withdrawn, with Mathieu, Adriano, Bartra, and Xavi coming into the starting XI. Still no place in the squad for Thomas Vermaelen, who returned to full training this week.
Getafe have made five changes from their previous match which was a 1-0 defeat against Levante. Naldo, Carlos, Escudero, Sarabia, and Diego Castro are left out, with Lago, Velazquez, Alexis, Freddy, and Emi starting for the capital club.
The referee whistles for half-time and gives Getafe the break they need. Barcelona head into the break at 5-0 up after two goals from Suarez and strikes from Messi, Neymar, and Xavi. It has been sensational stuff from Luis Enrique's men so far who are showing no signs of holding off in the goalscoring department! Unlucky Getafe have another 45 minutes to go...
Getafe (4-4-2): Guaita; Arroyo, Alexis, Velazquez, R. Lago; Fredy, Lacen, Juan Rodríguez, Pedro Leon; Baba, Emi.
Full time at Camp Nou. Barcelona move five points clear at the top of the table for the time being thanks to a 6-0 drubbing of Getafe in the Spanish Primera Division. Most of the goalscoring came in the first half with Suarez getting two, and Messi, Neymar, and Xavi also contributing. Messi grabbed his second shortly after the break to completely kill the game off, with the rest of the match proving to be an exhibition for the hosts. Majority of the build-up play for the goals was near perfection from Barca, but Getafe were desperately poor from the get-go. I'm Martin Macdonald, thanks for joining us, see you next time!
