Z. Ibrahimović has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by Á. Di María.
Bayal Sall played Ibrahimovic onside, meaning that Di Maria's mis-kick ends up as a late asisst.
IBRAHIMOVIC ADDS THE ICING ON THE CAKE! Harsh on Saint-Etienne as Cavani overlaps well, before cutting the ball back to Di Maria. The Argentine's shot is terrible, but luckily for him, the Swede is in position at the back post to divert it back on target.
90'
THERE WAS THE CHANCE! Monnet-Paquet's delivery was knocked down by Soderlund, with Clement attacking the ball inside the D. He lashes a half-volley on target, but Trapp gets down well to save that and keep a hold of the ball too! What an impact off the bench that could have been, and against his former club too!
88'
The home fans suddenly burst into life to give their side a late boost to finish this game strong. It seems to have worked, as Saint-Etienne finally get back on the ball and push play towards the edge of the PSG penalty area. Is there time then, for them to cause one more problem?
86'
The fans cry out in frustration as the referee awards PSG a free-kick just within shooting range. Di Maria stands over the ball, but can't cause any problems with his delivery. Just over four minutes remaining now, and it's becoming hard to see the hosts fashioning another chance.
85'
N. Roux enters the game and replaces F. Tabanou.
Tabanou had a few half-chances in this game, but his night is at an end as Roux replaces him.
84'
J. Clément gets yellow.
Yellow card Jérémy Clément
Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch in terms of goalmouth action, with the fans getting a little frustrated as Saint-Etienne struggle to get back on the ball. They needn't be too disappointed though - their team have given a good account of themselves here and have nothing to be ashamed about.
82'
Remember that PSG will equal Nantes' 21-year-old record of 32 Ligue 1 games without defeat, unless Saint-Etienne score twice in the eight minutes that remain. They've been tested more than most by the hosts, but turned on the ruthlessness when needed, as Blanc's men tend to do.
81'
J. Clément enters the game and replaces F. Lemoine.
Clement enters the game for Lemoine, and will have about nine minutes of action.
80'
Saint-Etienne are beginning to run out of ideas and gas here in the closing stages. PSG have been able to regain control of the ball since the introduction of Verratti, and are closing this match out in a professional manner, milking the clock and making the hosts do all the chasing.
78'
R. Cohade gets yellow.
Cohade tugs back Di Maria's shirt and gets a yellow card for his troubles.
Minute
Description
77'
Another half-chance for the visiting side as Ibrahimovic lays the ball off for Matuidi, who evades one challenge before getting crowded out at the edge of the six-yard area. Di Maria picks up the pieces as Ruffier scampers off his line, but the flag is up on the far side as it appeared that a PSG player was in an offside position.
75'
Nearly a magnificent introduction for Cavani, as Ibrahimovic finds him with a splendid pass, but the flag is up for an offside. The Uruguayan will provide more of a target in the box as opposed to Lucas, but will that come at the cost of some of the thrust that the Brazilian was offering in wide areas?
73'
O. Tannane enters the game and replaces J. Bahebeck.
E. Cavani enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
Lucas has departed for Cavani in the first of a double change from Blanc.
CHANCE FOR SODERLUND! He thrives off those type of crosses, as Malcuit puts one right above his head that he leaps onto, but he can't direct his header on target, bobbling it around the far post!
Bahebeck ends a disappointing night against his parent club as Tannane enters the fray in his place.
71'
GREAT CHALLENGE! Di Maria catches Pogba dallying on the ball and wastes no time in picking his pocket. He slides in Ibrahimovic on the left side of the box, and the Swede appears to have enough space to get a shot in. However, Bayal Sall gets across to put him off his shot.
69'
Right now it's PSG playing on the counter-attack. but Ibrahimovic decides to slow down what looked like a promising one, turning back to face his team and laying the ball off to Di Maria. Saint-Etienne are trying their hardest to win back possession, but it's not working at the moment.
67'
Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch at the moment, but suddenly, Monnet-Paquet races into a half-yard of space to latch onto a bouncing ball. He tries to scoop a volley into the top corner with his left foot, but ends up missing the target. Still, he hasn't lost his nose for the ball since the first whistle.
65'
F. Lemoine gets yellow.
Lemoine is the latest player to get carded for upending Matuidi in plain view of the referee. It was far from the worst challenge in the world, but the midfielder has accumulated a few fouls in this game, and this may just be a case of one too many for the official's liking.
63'
That goal will come as a hammer bow to Saint-Etienne, who may well feel that they were edging matters in the second-half. The important thing is that they don't get too disheartened, as they've caused problems with the speed of their attack. They need to keep that approach up.
61'
Z. Ibrahimović has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by S. Aurier.
IBRAHIMOVIC GRABS THE OPENER! He arrives between the two centre-backs to latch onto a great cross from Aurier, smashing the ball home! That's his 13th goal against Saint-Etienne since his arrival in French football!
An incredibly powerful run from Aurier left two players coughing up dust, and he played the perfect ball in for Ibra to capitalise.
TRAPP CALLED INTO ACTION! Monnet-Paquet does excellently on the ball at the edge of the box, cutting inside his man before letting fly with a low effort that is smothered by the PSG keeper! Great play all around!
60'
Ibrahimovic has a chance to let fly on goal, but he tries to get the ball in a better position for him to strike. That cane at the cost of the original space that he had, as Saint-Etienne get Tabanou back in the box to make a block with his backside. The visitors have been guilty of getting too over-elaborate with the ball in the second-half.
Verratti has quietly made his way onto the pitch in place of Stambouli.
59'
M. Verratti enters the game and replaces B. Stambouli.
58'
Maxwell turns on the afterburners to make inroads down the left. He cuts it back to Di Maria at the top of the box, and the Argentine immediately hooks it back into the area for the Brazilian full-back to control. He then plays it to Ibrahimovic, who attempts an elaborate flick behind his head that required the use of his arm. The referee immediately blows his whistle in Saint-Etienne's favour.
56'
THE FLAG IS UP! Saint-Etienne continue to grow in confidence in this half, as Lemoine slides in a pass behind the defence that Soderlund races onto. He fires low on goal, and Trapp just about makes the save with his legs before the officials signal for an offside. Replays show it to be the correct decision.
54'
PSG just finding it a little difficult to get out of their own half at the moment, with Saint-Etienne winning a free-kick that allows them the chance to get bodies forward. However, Monnet-Paquet's in-swinging delivery is not up to scratch, and the visitors can clear the ball.
52'
WIDE OF THE MARK! It's a repeat of what worked relatively well for the home team in the first-half. Monnet-Paquet lined up the cross from the right-hand side, and Tabanou ghosted in unmarked at the far post. The wide man arrives with a strong swing of his boot, but he misses the target! PSG need to watch that space.
50'
Lucas Moura executes a lovely turn that puts him a step ahead of his man, and he charges through the middle to lead the break. However, he eschews a passing option in favour of going for goal on his own, and ends up dragging his shot well wide of the target from a long way out.
48'
No changes to report from the half-time break, but Cavani leads the throng of substitutes warming up on the sidelines. PSG dominated the ball in the first half, enjoying nearly two-thirds of possession with 65 per cent. Can they turn all of that into goals now?
46'
Off we go again!
45'
No stoppage time as the referee signals for the break.
44'
PSG ESCAPE! What an opportunity for the home side as a free-kick lofted towards the back post by Tabanou is left by everyone, giving Bayal Sall time and space to make contact. However, he can't get a clean touch on the ball and the ball goes out of play, to the relief of Trapp, who wasn't going to get there!
42'
A lot to consider for Laurent Blanc here at the half-time break. He may well feel that his team have been a bit unlucky with some of their chances, but he also has to consider the openings that were created against his side by the opposition. PSG are going to have to dig deep if they want the points here.
40'
Theophile-Catherine is caught in a spot of bother after Lucas' touch with the outside of his boot leaves him stranded. However, Malcuit is back to help out his team-mate, and makes a great challenge on the Brazilian to prevent him from getting a cross in or having a run into the box.
38'
Saint-Etienne have given a good account of themselves in the first-half, despite PSG having the better chances to open the scoring. There has been some real enterprise in their play down the flanks, and if they could get more men attacking the ball inside the box when those deliveries come in, they could well find a breakthrough.
36'
T. Motta gets yellow.
Motta picks up a booking for having a nibble at Lemoine in the centre of the park.
FABULOUS BLOCK! Stambouli's ball over the top finds Ibrahimovic clean through with his back to goal. The flag says down, and the Swede tries a back-heel that evades Ruffier, but is heading off target. However, the onrushing Lucas looks poised to slam it into the back of the net, but Bayal Sall somehow gets to the far post to stop his finish from sneaking in!
34'
PSG WERE WORRIED THERE! Soderlund holds the ball up well and releases Monnet-Paquet at the right moment. The wide man leaves tread marks on his way to the byline, lashing in a low cross that flies to the opposite post, where Matuidi has to race back to make a crucial challenge to stop Bahebeck from pouncing!
32'
Kimpembe goes out to the corner flag to defend against an overlapping run from Bahebeck after Malcuit's pass into space. The hosts win a corner, which is headed away by the defence. Saint-Etienne stay in possession, and Monnet-Paquet has a shooting chance as he cuts inside, but he takes too long to make up his mind and Kimpembe blocks that one.
30'
Half-hour gone here and it's still goalless. Ibrahimovic tries to change that has he barrels through the centre of the field to the top of the D. He has Lucas making a stretching run, but the Brazilian changes his mind and starts to drift infield. Ibra didn't see the shift in his movement, and plays the ball through to his original position, ending the chance.
28'
Saint-Etienne have done well to overcome a difficult period of pressure from PSG, and the game looks more even now. The visitors still have all the possession, but aren't getting the ball into as dangerous areas as before. ASSE also have the speed in the right positions to punish them on the break.
26'
Another half-chance for the home team as Monnet-Paquet has space on the left-hand side, and swings in the ball onto the head of Bahebeck. However, the forward got under the ball too much, and plants his header into the night sky. Saint-Etienne have gotten into some decent crossing positions. They're just missing that little bit of polish with their execution.
24'
This game has developed a lovely back-and-forth tempo to it, which is all the more surprising given the amount of times that the referee has had to blow his whistle for a foul. PSG have another free-kick, this one just over 25 yards out. Ibrahimovic takes charge, but it's rather tame by anyone's standards, bobbling into the safe hands of Ruffier.
22'
Bayal Sall nearly sells his team down the river with a soft back-pass that has Di Maria on his bike racing to catch it ahead of Ruffier. However, not for the first time in this game, the Saint-Etienne goalkeeper moves quickly to the edge of his penalty area to make a commanding challenge with his feet to get rid of the danger.
20'
NOT TOO FAR OVER! Bahebeck sprints onto a through pass from the quietly effective Monnet-Paquet, and he has the step on Maxwell. He decides to go for glory against his parent club, but puts just a little too much juice behind his strike, which flies about a foot above the crossbar.
18'
Waste of a delivery from Di Maria, who could not take advantage of some lax marking by the home team, playing the ball right into a defender. Saint-Etienne try to counter through Monnet-Paquet, but his cross is too early for any of his team-mates to attack.
16'
Lucas has the pace and space to reach the byline ahead of Pogba, who decides to take one for the team, shoving the Brazilian to the turf right on the edge of the box. Now that was a challenge that deserved a yellow card in my mind, but there's no booking. PSG still have a free-kick in a threatening position though. The defence sets up their wall.
14'
A. Søderlund gets yellow.
ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SAINT-ETIENNE! Great period for the home side as Trapp punches clear a corner, but they keep it alive. Tabanou makes an inch of shooting space for himself and lets fly from about 20 yards out, which the PSG keeper has to divert over the crossbar.
It's kicking off a bit here as Soderlund comes in a tad late on Motta, leading to a booking. It was half a second away from being a fair 50-50, which makes it another harsh card from the referee in my mind. The PSG players certainly don't seem to think so though, and a shoving match ensues which is broken up by the referee.
13'
TRAPP WITH AN EXCELLENT SAVE! Malcuit launches in a cross from the right flank that suddenly starts moving towards the far corner, meaning that the keeper has to react quickly to tip the ball over the woodwork. That was a difficult one to judge - he did so well to keep that out!
11'
Great start to this game with opportunities at both ends of the pitch. However, PSG are dominating the ball as you would expect, and are looking likely to find the killer pass behind what looks like an overwhelmed back three for Saint-Etienne. Dangerous period for the hosts to navigate.
9'
P. Kimpembe gets yellow.
Kimpembe is the first player booked for taking out Monnet-Paquet deep on the right flank. He certainly sent the wide man flying, but there seemed to be a bit of embellishment, meaning that hte yellow card is a bit harsh.
7'
OVER THE BAR! Di Maria collects the ball on the right side of the box after a good run, and he quickly plays it into the feet of Ibrahimovic just inside the 18-yard line. The Swede takes a second to get out from under that ball and then proceeds to whack it goalwards, but he can't keep it down and Saint-Etienne escape.
5'
OFFSIDE! Ibrahimovic looked to be through as he raced onto Matuidi's pass ahead of his marker, but Ruffier scampered off his line to meet him early, doing just enough to put him off his finish. It was a great save, and the flag was then raised late to nullify the play.
3'
NEARLY A GIFT OF A GOAL! Matuidi and Motta make a mess of a ball, which allows Monnet-Paquet in on goal, but he seemed to be surprised by the suddenness of the chance, and Trapp is just about able to get rid of the danger. The hosts need to be more clinical with those type of chances!
1'
Off we go!
Should PSG remain unbeaten after today's game, then they would equal Nantes' record of 32 league games without defeat, which was set between 1994 and 1995. Who would bet against them matching history this evening?
Since the cash started flowing into PSG, they've faced Saint-Etienne 14 times, winning 10 and losing only one of those meetings. They've already beaten tonight's hosts twice in 2015-16, with a 1-0 result in the Coupe de la Ligue in December following a 4-1 triumph at Parc des Princes in the reverse league fixture in October.
PSG have the chance to stretch their lead at the top of the table to 24 points with a win here. Indeed, there's been only three occasions this season where an opponent has prevented them from taking maximum points, and they're still yet to be defeated in their 22 games so far. Their goal difference is +46. The next-highest teams are Marseille and Nice with +9. It's almost not fair.
Sixth-place Saint-Etienne are three points off getting back into the European zone, but are in a bit of a rough patch at the moment. They've won only five of their last 15 games in the league, losing eight times in that span. However, they have the second-best home record in the top flight in terms of wins (7). Guess who's got the best.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Ligue 1 clash between Saint-Etienne and Paris Saint-Germain at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. The visitors are running away with the title in almost embarrassing fashion, and travel to a team angling to get back into the European places. Stick with us for all the action.
Jean-Christophe Bahebeck keeps his place in the home side's XI to start against his parent club. Franck Tabanou returns to the team, displacing Pierre-Yves Polomat, while Kevin Malcuit and Renaude Cohade are also recalled at the expense of Vincent Pajot and Loic Perrin.
Laurent Blanc makes seven changes from his team's exploits in the Coupe de la Ligue against Toulouse last time out. Marquinhos shakes off a groin problem to start in place of David Luiz, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lucas are back in the front three, with Edinson Cavani and Exequiel Lavezzi making way.
Saint-Etienne are halfway to what would be a fantastic point against Paris Saint-Germain, with the game locked at a stalemate at half-time. There's been chances at both ends, but the visitors will be the side that probably feel like they deserved to be ahead. Ibrahimovic and Lucas has the best openings of the half, but so far, both keepers haven't been beaten. A lot to play for after the break, so do stay tuned.
And that will do it, as PSG open up a 24-point lead at the top of the table thanks to a double from Ibrahimovic, his 13th and 14th goals in 12 games against Saint-Etienne. The home side battled hard and were looking good for the best part of an hour, but in a familiar story, PSG's quality came through in the end. That's all the time we have, thanks for joining our live commentary!
