35'
It's a huge call from Anthony Taylor and his fourth official Jon Moss. New Premier League rules are trying to clamp down on aggression from coaching staff and Hughes is the first manager of the season to fall foul of those rules. Will it affect the game at all? Things are definitely starting to heat up.
34'
M. Arnautović gets yellow.

31'
It's a beautifully timed run for Son who gifts the ball to Alli and it's a horrific miss by the England international! He completely misses the target and not one Alli will want to see back. A player of his calibre really should be doing better. He got everything right but the finish, definitely the clearest chance of the game thus far.
28'
Spurs, with successive corners, fail to do anything with the set pieces and Given is able to hoof the ball up field hastily. The attack is short lived, however, and the ball is back their own half. Imbula tries to take it forward but Stoke look as if though they are out of ideas as the ball is out for a home throw.
25'
Kane makes a good run forward, as does Davies but Alli fails to pick out either of them. The midfielder's best option was Son to his left of him but he failed to spot his teammate. Alli then has the ball back and goes close from the corner of the box but Given manages to get a finger tip to it.
23'
Son is now receiving a barrage of boos from home fans who think he went down very easily upon appealing for a penalty. It's definitely now a level playing field with the visitors seeing a lot more of the ball. Stoke are ensuring they have a lot of bodies back.

15'
Jon Walters is almost able to get in between Alderweireld and Vertonghen but the forward makes a meal of it and Spurs are able to recover. At the other end of the field, Alli makes an excellent run but Given is there to collect. Can Spurs now find their tempo?
13'
Spurs finally force their way out of their own half but it's very sloppy. The hosts just aren't allowing them to settle. That said Son is given an opportunity to run at Geoff Cameron and after a string of passes Wanyama has an attempt. Whelan is there, however, and Stoke take it forward with Cameron winning a free-kick on the halfway line.
11'
The first corner of the afternoon is whipped in by Joe Allen but it's away by Eric Dier. However, only as far as Whelan who tries is luck and it sails narrowly over the bar after taking a deflection from Alderweireld. The resulting corner lands to Shawcross who goes agonizingly close to an opener, fortunately for Spurs Lloris is able to drop onto it.
9'
Ben Davies and Jan Vertoghen combine to keep Bony out. The former Man City striker is causing problems for the Spurs back line and almost found a breakthrough. Stoke aren't allowing the visitors any space at all, it's all red and white at the moment.
7'
G. Whelan gets yellow.
Glenn Whelan picks up the first yellow card of the afternoon for a foul on Alli. Impeding the Spurs man was the only for Whelan to prevent th danger, however, Whelean is on thin ice with over 80 minutes to play.
5'
Arnautovic has the ball in the but the flag was up before he struck. The forward was yards offside after making the run perhaps a bit too soon. Stoke have started impressively as they have just had the edge in the opening five minutes.
3'
Bony, with yards of space inside the 18 yards box has it and gives it Joe Allen allowing him to turn inside but Bony struggles to compose himself in time and Spurs are able to clear. A good chance for Bony and Stoke. Marko Arnautovic is down receiving treatment following a foul from Eriksen.

The sides are out and it's Tottenham who get us underway at the Bet 365 Stadium.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary as Stoke take on Tottenham Hotspur.
Stoke will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park. It was a close affair with Mark Hughes’ men putting up a good fight. Luck was against the Potters, however, as Shay Given’s penalty save ending up rebounding off his head and straight into his own net. Marko Arnautovic hit the crossbar but that was close as his side got to equalising. With just two wins in their last 13 Premier League games, taking ten points from a possible 39, the hosts will be eager to hit a run of form.
TEAM NEWS:
Spurs are also going through a spell of questionable form with just one win in seven. Mauricio Pochettino’s men rescued a point against Liverpool in their last run thanks to a Danny Rose goal, though they will be without the left-back today as he is ruled out through injury. One thing that in their favour, however, is their record at the Bet 365 Stadium. Spurs have won five Premier League games there, more than any other side and three of those wins have come in their last four visits. They their last game in Staffordshire 4-0, Stoke’s biggest joint home loss in the top flight.
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR XI (4-2-3-1): Lloris (C), Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane.
STOKE CITY XI (4-3-3): Given; Cameron, Shawcross, M. Indi, Pieters, Whelan, Allen, Imbula, Walters, Bony, Arnautovic.
SUBSTITUTES: Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Winks, Lamela, Sissoko, Janssen.
Hugo Lloris returns to the starting eleven, with Toby Alderweireld replacing the injured Rose. Son Heung-Min also returns to the side with Erik Lamela dropping to the bench. Harry Kane keeps his place despite his goal drought, with Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Son supporting him.
Wilfred Bony is handed his Stoke debut replacing Peter Crouch up front, Jon Walters makes a reappearance to the starting eleven replacing Mame Biram Diouf. Bruno Martins Indi also makes his debut for the Potters, replacing Phil Bardsley at the back. It’s a strong statement of intent from Mark Hughes as he names three attackers. There's some milestones at the Bet 365 Stadium today, as it's Shay Given's 450th Premier League appearance, with Ryan Shawcross making his 300th league appearance.
Spurs lead 1-0 at the break after a difficult start to the game. Stoke afforded the visitor's little space and frustrated Pochettino's men. Spurs stood resilient, however, and forced their way into the game. Son's attacking prowess paid dividends for the visitors after clever link up play from Alli and Eriksen set him up to put the visitors ahead.
Stoke will be disappointed with the ending to that half. The hosts started the game brightly and new signing Bony showed glimpses of what he can do. Though once Spurs got going, Stoke struggled to contain them and the affair at the Bet 365 Stadium became feisty. Hughes was shown to the stands and moments later a dominating Spurs side took the lead.
Stoke are now 13 games without a clean-sheet and this only the third time in nine seasons they have been bottom of the table. Can the hosts turn things around for the remaining 45 minutes? Stick with us to find out.
The referee blows for full-time as Spurs run out 4-0 winners. It's an exact replica of last season's score line at Stoke and the Potters will be wondering what went wrong for them after starting the game so birghtly. Bony went close a number of times, but it is clear the striker is not match fit. Stoke struggled to keep with Spurs' free flowing football and could not keep them out in the second-half.
Pochettino wil be delighted with his side's performance and their continued run of good form, particularly after a difficult end to last season. It's a perfect way to prepare for the return to the Champions League on Tuesday night. For Stoke, however, it is an afternoon to forget. Hughes will have to answer to the FA after being sent to the stands. His side are now rooted to the bottom of the table, with a goal difference of minus eight.
