Rossi is barged out of the way on the halfway line and picks up a late free-kick for Genoa, but there isn't enough time for the visitors to take it, bringing an end to their Coppa Italia run.
90' +3
Dybala darts along the edge of the Genoa penalty area before being clumsily caught from behind by Gentiletti, resulting in a free-kick for the home side in a really promising position. He steps up and shoots, but he can't quite guide his curling strike over the top of the wall.
90' +1
F. Ricci gets yellow.
Ricci becomes the latest player to go into the referee's book after catching Asamoah with a mistimed challenge over on the right flank.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be five minutes of added time.
88'
Another great chance for Higuain! Really good play between Dybala and Higuain sets up the big striker to unleash another thumping shot, but his low effort is sent straight at Lamanna and the goalkeeper does well to hold onto it.
86'
B. Matuidi enters the game and replaces F. Bernardeschi.
Bernardeschi receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he's replaced by Blaise Matuidi.
85'
Chance for Higuain! The game gets underway once again and Juventus quickly hit their opponents on a quick attacking move. It's one that ends with Higuain, who shoots from just outside of the box but puts far too much power behind his strike.
84'
OVERRULED! The referee eventually checks the VAR after finding himself on the receiving end of several complaints from the home side, and he ends up reversing his decision after judging that Pellegri went down far too easily.
83'
PENALTY! Juventus are guilty of being slightly lax at the back, where Asamoah loses the ball cheaply before catching Pellegri inside the penalty area. There didn't seem to be much contact there, but the referee quickly points to the spot after the Genoa players all scream for a spot-kick.
81'
Thumping strike by Rossi! The substitute does well to spin round Marchisio midway inside the Juventus half of the pitch before darting into a pocket of space. He then unleashes a thumping strike from 30 yards out, and it doesn't miss the top of the crossbar by too many yards.

79'
Rossi quickly gets involved in the action as Genoa desperately try to find a way back into the game, but Juventus have plenty of bodies back and are comfortably able to deal with the danger before calmly pushing forward on an attack of their own.
77'
G. Rossi enters the game and replaces A. Galabinov.
Genoa have made their third and final alteration, with Giuseppe Rossi coming on to take the place of Galabinov and make his return to Italian football.
76'
G. Higuaín has scored a goal for Juventus!
GOAL! It's 2-0 to Juventus! The second half has been a largely even one, but Juventus are now all but certain to reach the quarter-finals. It's Higuain who shrugs off Rossettini on the edge of the Genoa box before blasting a wonderful strike past Lamanna and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net. Excellent play from the striker!
75'
Good, quick play from Juventus deep inside the Genoa half of the pitch almost results in a chance on goal for Higuain on the edge of the penalty area, but he's closed down well by the visitors and has the ball poked away from him before he can pull the trigger.
73'
G. Chiellini enters the game and replaces S. Lichtsteiner.
A huge roar erupts around the stadium as Lichtsteiner is replaced by Giorgio Chiellini. It looks as if Juventus are going to play with a three-man defence for the remainder of the game.
72'
P. Pellegri enters the game and replaces R. Centurión.
P. Pellegri gets yellow.
Genoa have made their second change of the night, with youngster Pietro Pellegri coming on to replace Centurion.
Pellegri makes an immediate impact, but not quite the one he would have wanted. He rises high and ends up catching Sturaro with a flailing arm, resulting in the referee showing him a yellow card mere seconds after he's come onto the pitch.
70'
After dealing with the danger, Juventus try to hit Genoa on a quick counter-attack down the left wing. Bentancur initially manages to get himself into a good position on the halfway line before being clattered into by Rossettini, but, despite the Juventus players' protests, the centre-back gets away with just a talking to rather than a booking.
69'
Centurion is bundled over by Bernardeschi over on the left wing, resulting in a free-kick for Genoa in a decent position. It's the Argentine who whips a good cross into the box that looks set to pick out Rossettini, but the home side are just about able to get to the ball ahead of the defender.
67'
Higuain is the latest Juventus player to charge towards the visitors' box on a marauding run, but he completely loses his footing at the worst possible moment and gifts the ball to Gentiletti, who then thumps it far up the pitch.
65'
Almost a tap-in for Higuain! Sturaro breaks into the left-hand side of the Genoa penalty area after being left all alone by the visitors. He has a great opportunity to shoot but instead tries to tee up Higuain, which proves to be a poor decision after his pass is easily thumped away from danger.
63'
Another great strike by Galabinov! Once again, the Bulgarian striker causes all sorts of problems just outside of the Juventus box before getting a shot away. It's brilliantly hit and looks set to find the bottom left-hand corner of the net, but it ends up bouncing just inches wide of the post.
61'
G. Higuaín enters the game and replaces Douglas Costa.
F. Ricci enters the game and replaces D. Lazović.
Juventus have made their first substitution of the night, with Costa making way for Gonzalo Higuain.
Meanwhile, Genoa have brought on Federico Ricci to replace Lazovic.
60'
What a chance for Galabinov! The striker has barely had a sniff on goal this evening, but he does well to peel away from his marker before spinning on the edge of the penalty area. He then unleashes a thumping strike, but it's slightly overhit and sails over the crossbar after giving Szczesny a slight scare.
58'
Bernardeschi goes down on the edge of the penalty area, but nothing is given! The former Fiorentina forward showcases great skill as he darts along the Genoa box and towards a pocket of space. It looks as if he's going to be able to get a shot away, but he's tackled from behind by Cofie before he can do so. He immediately appeals for a free-kick, but the referee isn't at all interested and waves play on.
57'
Juventus patiently pass the ball around inside the visitors' half of the pitch as they try to find a way through the sea of defenders camped in front of them. Lichtsteiner eventually manages to whip a bouncing cross into the box, but it's underhit and fails to cause too many problems for the Genoa back line.
55'
Lazovic and Omeonga link up nicely over on the right-hand side of the Juventus penalty area, setting up the latter to shoot. He does well to carve out a bit of space for himself before doing so, but his thumping strike ends up smashing into the side-netting. Wojciech Szczesny looked to have it covered, too.
53'
Bentancur goes close! Juventus pile plenty of bodies forward as they try to find the back of the net for a second time tonight. Costa is unable to find a way into the Genoa box but spins and picks out Bentancur, who shoots from 25 yards out but sends his low effort just inches wide of the far post.
51'
Almost a costly mistake by Barzagli! A terrible pass from the defender is poked into the Juventus penalty area and over towards Rugani. It fails to find his fellow centre-back and instead rolls over to Centurion, who tries to get a shot away from close range but ends up running the ball out of play before he's able to do so.
49'
Decent play by the visitors deep inside the Juventus half of the pitch looks set to result in a chance on goal for Galabinov, who has struggled to carve out many opportunities for himself. He's unable to do so this time as well, as he's closed down and easily dispossessed by Sturaro.
47'
Costa is immediately presented with an opportunity to unleash an almighty shot from just outside of the Genoa penalty area after latching onto a nice nod-down from Sturaro, but the latter is flagged offside as soon as the Brazilian's strike is deflected well wide of the goal.
46'
We're underway once again!
45'
And now Sturaro goes close! The midfielder is the latest Juventus player to go close to finding the back of the net after latching into a low cross-cum-shot, but his close-range, poked strike fails to roll past Lamanna and is just about stopped by the Genoa goalkeeper.
44'
A. Galabinov gets yellow.
Almost an opportunity for Costa! Lovely play by Bernardeschi and Marchisio sets up Dybala to whip in a cross from deep down the right flank. The Argentine's ball into the box is a good one and looks set to find Costa, but it ends up fizzing just a yard or so past the onrushing Brazilian.
43'
Genoa immediately try to get Galabinov involved in the game from the restart with a lofted pass up the pitch, but the striker is quickly penalised for a flailing arm as he rises high to meet the ball.
42'
P. Dybala has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by C. Marchisio.
GOAL! Dybala has given Juventus the lead! This time the Argentine is able to spin away from Gentiletti on the edge of the Genoa box before spinning and shooting, and his low strike ends up flying past the outstretched limbs of Lamanna and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
It was Marchisio who cut inside from the right wing and picked out Dybala with a clever pass, but that goal was all about the little forward. He showed great awareness to spin away from his marker before perfectly placing his effort on goal.
41'
Wonderful save by Lamanna! Bernardeschi steps up and unleashes a brilliant curling strike that looks set to find the back of the net, but Lamanna is there to push it off the crossbar and out for a corner with an excellent diving stop.
40'
Gentiletti and Dybala end up clashing once again, resulting in another free-kick for Juventus in a promising position after the forward is sent crashing to the ground. Can they make it count this time?
38'
Dybala goes close to opening the scoring! A low cross from Darko Lazovic fails to pick out a team-mate in front of goal, allowing Juventus to quickly counter-attack. Asamoah and Costa link up nicely out wide before the latter finds Dybala with a clever cross, but the Argentine can't make it count and scuffs his first-time effort wide of the far post.
36'
S. Gentiletti gets yellow.
Dybala picks up the ball 25 yards away from the visitors' goal and quickly tries to round Santiago Gentiletti, but he's clumsily brought down by the defender and wins his side a free-kick in a decent position. It's Costa who steps up and shoots, but his effort on goal is a poor one and fails to cause any problems for Lamanna.
34'
Great opportunity for Claudio Marchisio! The midfielder easily skips away from his marker as he darts into the Genoa penalty area and towards a bouncing cross. He meets it well, spins and quickly gets a shot away, but it's slightly too powerful and sails a few yards over the top of the crossbar.
32'
After a period of dominance for Juventus, it's now Genoa who are on the front foot. They've performed well so far and have managed to restrict the hosts' chances on goal, but they've found it tough to get Centurio and Galabinov involved in the game up front.
30'
Bernardeschi hits the side-netting! Costa showcases wonderful skill as he breaks along the left-hand side of the Genoa box and into a pocket of space near to the byline. He then cuts a great pass back to Bernardeschi, who controls the ball and shoots but can't only find the side-netting.
28'
Like Juventus a few moments ago, Genoa try to hit their opponents on a quick counter-attack after successfully dealing with yet another attacking move. It initially looks as if Stephane Omeonga is going to be able to charge towards the penalty area after receiving the ball, but he loses his footing as soon as he does and loses out to Andrea Barzagli.
27'
Bernardeschi, who has arguably been one of Juventus' most dangerous players so far, makes a nuisance of himself deep down the right flank before being tripped over by Laxalt, resulting in a free-kick for the home side in a promising position. They're unable to make it count, though, as it's underhit and comfortably cleared.
25'
Fantastic save by Eugenio Lamanna! After dealing with the danger, Juventus hit Genoa on a blisteringly quick counter-attack. Bernardeschi embarks on a wonderful run down the right wing before cutting inside and setting up Douglas Costa, who immediately shoots but can't beat Lamanna with his low strike.
24'
Centurion twists and turns deep down the left flank as he tries to find a way into the Juventus penalty area. It initially looks as if he's lost out to Lichtsteiner before he powers past the Switzerland international, but he can't quite get a shot away from inside the box after being closed down by a group of black and white shirts.
22'
Juventus come back again as they continue putting plenty of pressure on the Genoa back line. Kwadwo Asamoah charges down the left wing before chipping a deft cross into the box, where Sturaro darts towards the ball but can't quite stop it from bouncing behind for a goal-kick.
20'
It's all Juventus at the moment, as the home side are comfortably managing to hold onto possession deep inside the Genoa half of the pitch. They're able to win themselves a corner through Lichtsteiner that's swiftly knocked back to Bernardeschi, but the forward can't pick out a team-mate inside the penalty area with a slightly underhit cross.
18'
S. Lichtsteiner gets yellow.
R. Bentancur gets yellow.
Diego Laxalt initially does well to win the ball back for his side before losing it to Bernardeschi, who quickly kick-starts a counter-attack. He's dispossessed on the edge of the box and Genoa try to counter-attack themselves, but Bentancur catches the advancing Centurion with an outstretched leg and receives the first yellow card of the game.
Lichtsteiner doesn't look at all happy with the decision to book Bentancur, and he's also shown a yellow card for dissent after having a little bit too much to say for himself.
16'
Vital block by Luca Rossettini! More quick play from Juventus deep inside the Genoa half of the pitch looks set to result in a chance on goal for the home side. Dybala dances along the edge of the penalty area before finally managing to get a shot away, but Rossettini is there to throw his body in the way of the effort.
14'
Good play between Centurion and Andrey Galabinov on the edge of the Juventus box sets up the Argentine to get a shot away just inside the penalty area, but his half-volleyed strike is a rushed one and ends up curling comfortably wide of its intended target.
12'
Almost a chance on goal for Juventus! Bernardeschi continues causing problems for Genoa as he cuts in from the right wing and curls a wonderful cross over to the far post. Stefano Sturaro sticks out a foot as he tries to latch onto the pass, but he can't quite do so and Genoa hold on once again.
10'
Bernardeschi darts across the pitch and towards the Genoa penalty area, but he's clumsily fouled from behind by Isaac Cofie and has to settle for a free-kick in a decent position. Dybala steps up and shoots, but his thumping strike ends up smashing into the wall camped just in front of him.
9'
Space opens up for Rodrigo Bentancur deep inside the Genoa half of the pitch, allowing him to chip a lovely pass into the box and right onto the head of Federico Bernardeschi. The forward quickly tries to nod the ball down to Paulo Dybala, but the two aren't quite on the same wavelength and the visitors are easily able to clear the danger.
7'
A misplaced clearance from Rugani results in the ball bouncing straight into the feet of Ricardo Centurion over on the left flank. The number nine immediately breaks down the wing and tries to find a way into the penalty area, but Stephan Lichtsteiner is there to shepherd him out of play.
5'
It's been a good start to the game from Genoa, who look well-organised at the back and are doing well to deny Juventus a way through their five-man defence. It seems as if they're going to sit back, soak up the pressure and then try to hit the hosts on quick counter-attacks when space appears.
3'
After a determined start to the game from the home side, it's Genoa who push forward on the first attacking move of the night. They knock the ball around patiently before a thumping pass is fired up the pitch, but Daniele Rugani is there to head it away from danger without too many problems.

We're off!
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Coppa Italia last-16 game between Juventus and Genoa at the Juventus Stadium.
Tonight’s clash marks the end of the last-16 of the Coppa Italia and brings together two sides battling at opposite ends of the Serie A table. For Juventus, who have won the cup in each of the last three years, they find themselves only one point behind leaders Napoli after losing just one of their previous 13 games. Genoa, meanwhile, are struggling in 17th place after once again suffering a difficult first half of the season.
With an incredibly important clash at home to fellow title chasers Roma coming up at the weekend, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has unsurprisingly decided to rest several key players for this evening’s game. However, it shows just how strong his squad is when he can call up the likes of Paulo Dybala, Federico Bernardeschi and Claudio Marchisio from the substitutes’ bench, and he’ll no doubt be feeling confident about his side’s chances of progressing without too many problems.
It’s certainly going to be a tough night for Genoa, despite the fact that they’ve performed much better since replacing Ivan Juric with Davide Ballardini, who has returned to the club for a third spell. They’ve lost just one game since he has been at the helm, with Roma and Fiorentina both being held to frustrating draws in recent weeks. Juventus certainly start to the evening as favourites, but Genoa could end up causing them a few issues if they’re at their best.
A Genoa win would make them the only club currently in the bottom half of the Serie A table to progress to the quarter-finals of the cup, but recent history certainly isn’t on their side. They’ve lost seven of their last nine meetings with Juventus and were comfortably 4-0 on their last visit to this part of Turin. They did beat the reigning champions 3-1 last November, however, and they meet the Old Lady at a time when their confidence will be as high as it has been all season.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Genoa substitutes: Zima, Landre, Rodriguez, Salcedo Mora, Pellegri, Palladino.
Massimiliano Allegri has decided to make eight changes to the Juventus side that beat Bologna on the weekend, with only Wojciech Szczesny, Andrea Barzagli and Douglas Costa retaining their places in a heavily altered line-up that sees Dybala start in a number nine role.
Meanwhile, Genoa boss Davide Ballardini has also made 10 alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Petar Brlek the sole survivor from that side. Like Allegri, Ballardini has decided to use tonight’s game as a chance to give a much-needed rest to most of his first-choice squad.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 GENOA
It took Juventus a bit of time to fully get into the game, but they deservedly head into the half-time break with a one-goal lead thanks to a wonderful strike from Dybala. Genoa started well but have found themselves pegged back inside their own half of the pitch, where they're struggle to deal with a determined and thoroughly impressive Juventus front line. They're going to have to be more positive if they're to find a way back into the game after the break.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 2-0 GENOA
In the end it was a solid performance from the home side, who put in a commanding display from start to finish to frustrate a Genoa team that pulled off an impressive performance of their own. The visitors improved after the break and gave the hosts' back line a few things to worry about, but, despite their best efforts, it wasn't to be. Bernardeschi, Dybala and, later, Higuain were all too hot to handle, resulting in Juventus making it to the last-eight of the competition to meet their local rivals Torino.
