CHANCE! Right at the death, an opportunity for Costa, whose close-range strike is blocked by Geis.
90' +2
Simeone will be fuming down on the touchline, that his side did not take the chance to put this game - and potentially the tie - to bed, and now have just two minutes to at least go into the second leg on level terms...
90'
J. Geis enters the game and replaces S. Corchia.
As the referee signals a minimum of four minutes added time, Sevilla make a final change. The stricken Sebastien Corchia goes off, with Johannes Geis coming on.
88'
J. Correa has scored a goal for Sevilla! Assist by W. Ben Yedder.
It was nothing more than a hopeful flick-on from Ben Yedder, but Correa - with his blistering pace - made the most of it by outsprinting Savic and keeping his composure to beat Moya.
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLL!!! SEVILLA TAKE THE LEAD! Dramatic scenes in Madrid, as Juan Correa gets the better of Atleti’s defence to prod a wonderful finish over the onrushing Moya and put Sevilla ahead late on!
87'
A bit of concern now for Sevilla, as Corchia has to receive treatment for what appears to be cramp. After a few minutes, it seems he will be okay to carry on…
84'
W. Ben Yedder enters the game and replaces L. Muriel.
Another change now, as Montella replaces Luis Muriel with Wissam Ben Yedder.
82'
Fernando Torres enters the game and replaces Koke.
That is a horror show from Moya, who diverted the cross - which seemed to be heading wide - in with a dreadful attempt at a punch clear. It has forced Someone into a final attacking change, as Fernando Torres comes on to replace Koke.
80'
Jesús Navas has scored a goal for Sevilla! Assist by J. Correa.
GOOOOAAAALLLLL!!! SEVILLA ARE LEVEL! Well, out of nowhere, Atleti have been pegged back - and it is Jesus Navas, only on the pitch a few minutes - who has created it! The former Manchester City winger found enough space down the right to float in a cross that, with the help of a wicked deflection off Hernandez, completely fools Moya, who can only help it into the net.
Assist Carlos Joaquín Correa
79'
Sevilla are on the rocks now, as Rico is forced into save to deny Carrasco. The rebound falls to Correa, but he can only find the side-netting.
78'
Almost a second for Costa! Carrasco flashed a great cross into the six-yard box, but Costa couldn't quite get on the end of it.

Description
76'
A first change now for Sevilla. On comes Jesus Navas, replacing Franco Vazquez.
75'
Jesús Navas enters the game and replaces F. Vázquez.
Costa has looked the mist likely all evening, and that effort was pure class. It was a loose ball following a blocked shot, but the former Chelsea man kept his cool to slam a low finish across Rico. Moments later, Sevilla charge forward, but Escudero’s effort does not trouble Moya.
73'
Diego Costa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid!
GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! Well, who else would it be but that man Diego Costa who - after Sevilla fail to clear from Saul’s free-kick - is on hand to smash home with a brilliant first-time finish.
69'
Saúl gets yellow.
Saul has become the first Atleti player to pick up a card tonight.
68'
Y. Carrasco enters the game and replaces A. Griezmann.
A second Atleti substitution sees Antoine Griezmann make way for Yannick Carrasco.
67'
A succession of Atleti corners eventually results in Costa losing patience and trying his luck with an ambitious, acrobatic strike, but it sails over.
66'
POST! A heart-in-the-mouth moment there for Escudero, who inadvertently turns Correa’s cross onto the upright of his own goal.
65'
Great pressing from the visitors, as Correa forces Koke into conceding a throw-in deep in Atleti’s half. The hosts, however, quickly win it back and are soon on the charge…
63'
Sevilla are doing brilliantly to frustrate Atleti so far, and a sloppy pass from Saul has just brought a cry of groans from the home faithful. Montella’s men have some momentum, at the moment.
60'
CLOSE! A matter of inches for Costa, who just couldn’t stretch far enough to tuck home Juanfran’s cross.
58'
G. Mercado gets yellow.
A foul from Mercado gives Koke the chance to deliver a brilliant cross from a free-kick down the left. The ball finds its way through a crowd of defenders and into Godin, but he can't beat Rico.
55'
Sevilla's set-piece comes to nothing, with Atleti breaking. Correa finallt gets involved as he finds space to cut in and unleash a strike, but Rico is well behind it.
53'
Calm, composed play from Sevilla, who work it out from the back in accomplished fashion before Correa is blocked off by Savic, winning a free-kick down the left.
51'
A crunching tackle from Costa, who leaves one in on Banega. The former Atleti man isn’t seriously hurt, but that was petulant from Costa, who does well to avoid a booking.
48'
No sign of an opening yet, as the second half settles quickly into the rhythm of the first. Plenty of possession for Atleti, with Sevilla looking to counter.
46'
Á. Correa enters the game and replaces Vitolo.
We’re back underway at Wanda Metropolitano. Vitolo's disappointing display against his former club has come to an end, with Simeone bringing on Angel Correa.
43'
Simeone will be frustrated that his side haven’t made the most of their opportunities, and Sevilla are coming on strong now as we approach the interview - Muriel forcing Juanfran into conceding a corner.
41'
WOW! What an effort from Escudero, who punts a rasping, dipping drive goalwards from distance. Moya is caught on his heals, but ultimately does well to lean back and tip the ball over before it finds the top corner.
38'
CHANCE! A fine save from Rico, now, who stands firm to prevent Costa slotting home after the striker had powered past Sevilla’s defence.
36'
Wasteful from Correa! Sevilla have looked dangerous on the counter, and yet again the visitors manage to cause havoc on the break following an Atleti set-piece. N’Zonzi had made a brilliant run into the area, but Correa - who had acres of space - fails to pick out the Frenchman.
33'
CLOSE! Corchia unleashes a strike from the edge of Atleti’s area, but Moya always looked to have it covered as the ball nestled into the side-netting.
31'
Just over half-an-hour played in Madrid, and though Atleti have certainly shaded it, Sevilla have had their fair share of chances as well. It’s in the balance as it stands, as Muriel looks to slip a pass into Sarabia following a great run down the left. Savic, though, cut it out.
28'
SAVE! Great goalkeeping from Moya, who rushes off his line to deny Correa following a sweeping Sevilla counter-attack. Hernandez gets back to collect the loose ball, and wins a clumsy foul off Sarabia to relieve the pressure.
26'
CHANCE! Correa gets the better of Juanfran at the back post, but can only direct his header straight at Moya. Moments later, Griezmann goes for goal at the culmination of a powerful run, but his effort sails off target.
25'
The former Chelsea man is, however, rightly complaining to the referee after his shirt was ripped going for that ball. No foul was awarded, and instead the Atleti man has to trudge off to change his top.
24'
An opportunity to counter now for Atleti, following a brief spell of Sevilla pressure. Saul whips a cross in to Costa, who again wins his header, but only manages to turn it over.
20'
The resulting corner is half-cleared by the visitors, with Hernandez picking up the scraps 25 yards out. The full-back tries his luck with a half-volley, but it deflects harmlessly into Rico’s arms.
19'
Saul is involved again a moment later, as he is clattered into by Banega. Gabi delivers the resulting free-kick, which Savic helps on. Costa, of course, is there to win the second ball, forcing Rico into a fine save with a powerful header.
18'
Unusually wasteful play from Saul who, after getting into the perfect position to thread a through ball into Costa’s path, overhits his pass, and it trickles out for a goal kick to Sevilla.
15'
Great defending from Juanfran who, despite slipping, manages to prevent Correa getting in behind him down the wing, winning a goal kick in the process.
13'
NO GOAL! Well, that man Costa seemed to have given Atleti the lead with a brilliant header from a corner, only for the referee to deem that Griezmann had obstructed the run of Rico. Sevilla have got lucky, there!
11'
Another Atleti free-kick down the right side, but this time Koke goes short. The ball is worked in towards Griezmann, who had made a clever run to the near post, but his heavy first touch enables Rico to make an easy stop.
10'
That’s not far off! Neat play down the left from Sevilla eventually results in Sarabia receiving the ball on the turn around 20 yards out. Almost instinctively, the winger spins clear of his marker and prods an effort goalwards, and Moya can only watch as the ball inches wide of the upright.
8'
Koke delivers a decent cross from a free-kick on the right flank, but N’Zonzi uses his height to his advantage to rise clear of the Atleti attachers and head it away from danger.
5'
A first half-chance now for Costa to get in behind Sevilla’s defence, as Griezmann looks to slip him through. N’Zonzi, however, tracks back to intervene.
3'
CLOSE! A bright start from the visitors in the capital, as the ball is worked into Vazquez on the edge of Atleti’s area. The Italian drives his way past one defender, but slips at the vital moment, sending his left-footed strike wide.
1'
KICK-OFF! Following a touching tribute to late Atleti legend Ruben Diaz, we are up and running in this Copa del Rey encounter!
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-final clash between two LaLiga heavyweights, as Atletico Madrid welcome Sevilla to the Wanda Metropolitano.
Atleti are flying high in second place in LaLiga, though Diego Simeone will know that their best chance of silverware perhaps comes in this competition. The hosts have enjoyed a fine start to 2018, buoyed by the return of Diego Costa, who has netted three goals from his three appearances since rejoining Los Rojiblancos.
Atletico Madrid substitutes: Werner, Gimenez, Thomas, Carrasco, Torres, A.Correa, Gameiro.
Six changes in total from Simeone, who saw his side overcome Eibar 1-0 last time out. Costa, who missed that game through suspension, returns to partner Antoine Griezmann up top, with former Sevilla man Kevin Gameiro - who scored the winner at Estadio Municipal de Ipurua and has this week been linked with a move to Premier League strugglers Swansea City - making way.
Another ex-Sevilla star in Atleti’s line up is Vitolo. The winger left the Andalusian club on a sour note in 2017, and will be looking to leave his mark tonight in what is just his second start for Simeone’s side. He netted in the 3-0 win over Lleida Esportiu in the previous round.
Sevilla substitutes: Carole, Ben Yedder, Geis, Soria, Pizarro, Navas, Nolito.
Seven changes from Montella, whose side were disappointing against struggling Alaves in their last outing. Steven N’Zonzi - who has been linked with a move away from Sevilla this transfer window - is among the players coming in, while Luis Muriel comes in for Wissam Ben Yedder up front.
It could not be more different for Sevilla who, despite a change in leadership, have not had a change of fortunes under new boss Vincenzo Montella. In fact, a 1-0 defeat to Alaves last time out means they have picked up just one point from a possible 15 in LaLiga, with the cup a welcome distraction.
HALF TIME: Atletico Madrid 0 Sevilla 0.
A frustrating half for Atleti, who have controlled much of proceedings without reward - Diego Costa having had a goal harshly disallowed early on.
Simeone will require more cutting edge from his side, though, with only a fine string of saves from Moya preventing Sevilla taking a lead into the interval.
A superb performance from Sevilla, and a deserved win for Montella’s men, who put in a resilient display against a bullish Atleti this evening to take the advantage into the return leg of this quarter-final clash.
Well, that’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
Diego Costa’s well-taken goal had looked to settle this leg, but a goalkeeping howler from Moya handed Sevilla a lifeline. And Juan Correa wasted little time in capitalising on more sloppy Atleti defending to seal the victory late on.
