What a score for City, right at the death. There are shades of Sergio Aguero with the timing - but this time, it's not to win the league, but to smash the triple-digit barrier. De Bruyne threads a looping long ball into the box on the last break of the game; Jesus meets it and chips neatly over McCarthy. What a finish!

Tadic! How on earth did Southampton not take the lead there? Flying off his line, Bravo misjudges a Romeu effort, who lays it wide to Tadic on the left to drill home - and Jesus somehow clears it off the line by a mere fraction.

Now Ward-Prowse gets a booking as he checks Sterling and the visitors have a free-kick.
70'
Ward-Prowse lands a header from the centre of the box; it goes straight to Bravo though and City pump it downfield.
68'
Southampton are starting to thread together more threatening attacks now, as off the back of that free-kick, Romeu threads a half-chance for Bertrand to cut around on the edge of the box before Stones nips in to clear.
66'
Free-kick to Southampton on their right wing now as Fernandinho brings down Tadic.

62'
From the follow-up corner, De Bruyne slots a powerful shot between the legs of the defence and just pulls it wide to the right.
61'
How did City not score there? Sane blasts in a powerful shot from outside the box on the left and it pinballs all around the Stoke defence before an attempted follow-up from Sterling is deflected over the crossbar.

De Bruyne drifts it well into the box and over the crowd of players towards the far post; Stones can't connect with his header though and it skips out for a goal-kick..
48'
Free-kick to City, 22 yards out on the left edge, in almost the same position Southampton had one in the first half. A chance for De Bruyne to make some magic here for the champions...
46'
We're back underway for the final half of the 2017-18 Premier League season and City press forward immediately from the restart. Sane goes up to chest a chip from the left inside the Saints box; he catches it with his wrist though and a free-kick is awarded against him for hand-ball.
45'
There's no added time on the way, and with that, the referee blows for half-time.
44'
Redmond looks to slip through down the left wing, chasing a ball from Hoedt in the centre; he is marginally ahead of the defence however and the linesman calls him for offside.
42'
Southampton counter with a chance of their own now; Bertrand edges into the City box and plays a cut-back to Romeu who hoists it over the crossbar himself.
39'
That's more like it from Sterling; the England man makes a smart break, cuts between two defenders and from outside the box, pushes his right-footed effort half a metre over the crossbar.
37'
City for their part don't look to be chasing that 100-point record with anything approaching fierce determination. If anything, they seem rather pedestrian; similar to the way they folded against Huddersfield in a 0-0 draw last weekend.
35'

22'
Initially deflected out for a close-range throw, City's first attempt into the box from Gundogan is cleared only as far as Danilo, who drills low through a crowded box from 22 yards out, hooking it wide to the right.
20'
De Bruyne tries from inside the left edge of the Saints area with a neat twist; he sees his effort deflected and City get a corner.
18'

14'
Tadic brings down Delph out on City's left wing and the visitors pick up a free-kick for the foul.
12'
After a brief lull in forward-moving play, De Bruyne flicks on a neat pass for Sterling to chase into the Southampton box, slotting it neatly through the back-line; the City forward comes up shy of the ball before it drifts out for a goal-kick.
9'
Hoedt's header was deemed to have brused Romeu on the way towards the crossbar and City come up with a free-kick in their own box for offside now.
8'
Header from Hoedt! A Southampton corner is swung close from the right to the near post and the defender's header hits the woodwork before being smothered away by Stones. The hosts have started this game with a gutsy determination to get themselves on the board early.
7'
Back down the other end, Saints have their first shot proper; Stephens carves a path into the City box, dribbles between two and shoots from 10 yards out in front. It's a soft finish but Bravo still bobbles it before collecting.

The final day of the 2017-18 Premier League is officially underway! Southampton come first; Bertrand floats a ball long for Austin, only to find Stones instead who heads it away some 10 yards out from the edge of the City box.
Hello and welcome to the final day of the 2017-18 Premier League season as champions Manchester City travel to Southampton looking to sign off their victorious campaign on a high. Pep Guardiola's side have been imperious winners this year – but could they become the first side in PL history to reach 100 points in a single campaign with a win at St Mary's Stadium?
Two losses. Four draws. 31 wins. 97 points. It has been a stunning nine months at the Etihad Stadium, as records have tumbled in the face of the Sky Blues. City's top-flight title – their fifth overall – seemed a foregone conclusion by Christmas; it was officially confirmed a month ago. Now they could take the all-time record points haul in the top tier of English football too.
Team news now and the hosts make a single enforced change to their starting XI; Maya Yoshida gets a start with Jan Bednarek ruled out through a head knock. Manolo Gabbiadini, the hero of the game against Swansea, is named on the bench.
For Southampton, it has been a case of contrasting fortunes. Ninth in 2016-17, they only lifted themselves out of the relegation zone last week with a season-deciding win against bottom-three rivals Swansea – and the Saints could still go down if they lose and the Welsh side win against Stoke with a 10-goal swing in their favour.
City make four swaps for their final game of the season; Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph and John Stones all start in place of Vincent Kompany, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Yaya Toure and Gabriel Jesus, with Fernandinho wearing the captain's armband.
Subs: Fraser Forster, Jeremy Pied, Manolo Gabbiadini, James Ward-Prowse, Sam McQueen, Shane Long, Josh Sims.
SOUTHAMPTON (5-4-1): Alex McCarthy; Ryan Bertrand, Wesley Hoedt, Cedric Soares, Maya Yoshida, Jack Stephens; Dusan Tadic, Oriol Romeu, Nathan Redmond, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg; Charlie Austin.
MANCHESTER CITY (4-3-3): Claudio Bravo; Fabian Delph, John Stones, Danilo, Aymeric Laporte; Fernandinho, Ilkay Gündogan, Kevin de Bruyne; Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Leroy Sane.
Subs: Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Vincent Kompany, Phil Foden, Brahim Diaz, Kyle Walker, Ederson.
The teams are out at St Mary's Stadium and we're moments away from kick-off.
Manchester City's triumphant season is in danger of ending on an anticlimax as the Sky Blues remain locked in a limp, goalless encounter at the break with Southampton. Great chances for Wesley Hoedt and Raheem Sterling have gone close enough a few times to suggest the sniff of a goal is on the cards - but neither have found the breakthrough yet. At half-time at St Mary's Stadium, it's Southampton 0-0 Manchester City.
Wow. Just, wow. Manchester City left it late - boy, did they leave it late - but Gabriel Jesus' injury time winner means that Pep Guardiola's side become the first top-flight side in English football history to reach 100 points in a single season. Southampton unjustly come away with nothing - but Mark Hughes has done his job and the Saints are officially safe on the final game of the season. They will play in the Premier League next year - but the day belongs to their visitors, champions in spectacular fashion. Full time at St Mary's Stadium, it finishes Southampton 0-1 Manchester City.
That's it for another year! Manchester City will return in August to defend their Premier League crown - and Southampton will be there with them in the top-flight of English football. Before then however, there is the small matter of a World Cup in Russia next month. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good summer!
