Steve Bruce is at the helm of his first Premier League game in charge of Newcastle after taking over the reins from Rafa Benitez in July, after the Magpies finished 13th last season. Meanwhile Unai Emery takes charge of his second Premier League season at the Gunners, they finished fifth last season and got to the Europa League final, but ultimately lost to Chelsea, so they are without Champions League football again this season.
Arsenal have enjoyed more of the ball, keeping it well in the middle of the pitch but they haven't done enough with it in front of goal and the Newcastle defence have looked pretty comfortable so far. Bruce will be the happier of the two managers at the break.
Newcastle will hope to pick up their first points of the season next Saturday when they travel to newly promoted Norwich City. Meanwhile Arsenal return to the Emirates, they welcome Burnley next weekend.
That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
