Semak will be disappointed that his side are behind at the break after their hard work to keep Leipzig out in the first half. They did create some very good chances for themselves though and if they can continue that in the second half, they could cause Leipzig some real problems. Nagelsmann's side dominated in the first half and he will feel they deserve to be leading. He will want them to continue to play as they did before half-time as they've looked a threat when going forward.
So, Leipzig go five points clear at the top of Group G and put themselves in a strong position to qualify for the knockout rounds. They're winning run continues and Nagelsmann will want to carry this momentum into their game against Hertha Berlin at the weekend. Zenit stay second in the table for now, but that will change after Lyon and Benfica play later on.
