We're underway at the King Power Stadium.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.
LEICESTER CITY (4-1-4-1): Kasper Schmeichel; Ricardo Pereira, Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell; Hamza Choudhury; Ayoze Perez, James Maddison, Youri Tielemans, Harvey Barnes; Jamie Vardy.
LEICESTER CITY SUBS: James Justin, Demarai Gray, Marc Albrighton, Danny Ward, Kelechi Iheanacho, Dennis Praet, Christian Fuchs.
CHELSEA SUBS: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Marcos Alonso, Ross Barkley, Willian, Mateo Kovacic, Michy Batshuayi, Fikayo Tomori.
After a strong opening half to the season, Leicester's form has started to tail off in recent weeks. The Foxes have lost ground to Manchester City in the battle for second place, losing to Southampton and Burnley in the Premier League. Aston Villa rubbed salt into the wound during the week by scoring a last-minute winner to defeat Brendan Rodgers' men to advance to the final of the EFL Cup. Leicester have to keep their heads after the agonising defeat to ensure that they keep their impressive campaign on track. It will be a big test for Foxes this afternoon.
Chelsea's form has also been inconsistent to say the least, although they did advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup last week by beating Hull City on the road. It allowed Frank Lampard's men to get back to winning ways after surrendering two leads in their last Premier League outing against Arsenal. Dating back to November, the Blues have mustered only four wins in their last 12 games, including six defeats. They have to rediscover their best in order to re-affirm their hold on fourth place - beginning the day six points clear of Manchester United.
CHELSEA (4-3-3): Willy Caballero; Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilcueta; N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mason Mount; Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham, Pedro.
Vardy has gone off the boil since the New Year and has not been helped by an injury problem. Since he has struggled for goals, the Foxes have not quite been at their best - notably their 2-1 defeat to Burnley on the road when he missed a penalty. A goal for the former England striker in the second half could reignite his and Leicester's campaign.
Leicester now have a 13-day interval before their next fixture as part of the Premier League's new winter break. They return to action on the road against Wolves on February 13. Chelsea also have their break next week and return on February 17 at home to Manchester United.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
