He pulls it back for Kessie, who is hovering on the far side of the box. He takes it first time, sidefooting it past Rudiger and into the bottom corner. 2-1 Barca!

Madrid are making a double change as they try to gain some control in this game. Kroos is the first to go off, with Rodrygo replacing him.
And Nacho is also making way, with Mendy on in his place.

ROBERTO EQUALISES! Raphinha completely missed the ball as he swung for a volley, but Barcelona keep it alive. Araujo's cross pinballs around the box, Camavinga clears it as far as Raphinha, who sees his shot blocked by the sprawling Rudiger. When it falls to Roberto, he makes no mistake, firing it into the near post. 1-1!

Madrid are starting to get it into the box more. Modric saw a cross tipped away by Ter Stegen earlier, but this time, he picks out Benzema. He sends his header looping up and the keeper plucks it out of the air.
42'

38'

It's a clumsy one from Nacho, who is late as he scrapes his studs down the back of Araujo's foot. He's shown the first yellow card of the game.
17'
It's better from Vinicius, who dribbles away from two as he cuts inside from the left before lifting a cross into the middle. There's just too much on it for Benzema though, and he can't head it on target.
15'
Madrid have settled now and they're passing it around nicely as they play out from the back. They switch it from right to left, but can't get it into the box at the moment.
13'
Valverde ends up deflecting Gavi's cross straight into Lewandowski's path, and he skips away from Militao. He can't get past Carvajal though, and it gets away from him.

9'
R. Araujo is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
OWN GOAL! Completely against the run of play, Madrid lead! The visitors work it neatly upfield, but when it's knocked into Vinicius in the box, he's forced wide by Busquets. He tries to clip it into the middle from near the byline, but Araujo gets a glance on it that sends it behind Ter Stegen, and he can't stop it from crossing the line. 1-0 Madrid!

5'
COURTOIS AGAIN! Barcelona's high press is causing all sorts of problems and they keep winning it back in the final third. Balde swings in a great cross from the left and Raphinha thumps a header on goal, but Courtois denies him too.

Benzema gets the game underway for Madrid!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the LaLiga meeting between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Camp Nou!
This is the fourth meeting between these sides in all competitions this season, with Madrid coming out on top 3-1 in the reverse fixture, while Barca beat them in the Supercopa de Espana final and hold a 1-0 advantage over them in the Copa del Rey semi-final. The hosts are looking to extend their lead at the top of LaLiga to 12 points with a win here today, and they've won their last three in all competitions, all by 1-0 scorelines. They're also yet to lose at home in the league this term (W10 D2). Madrid come into today having booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals in midweek with a 6-2 aggregate win over Liverpool. They've lost just one of their previous 10 games in all competitions (W7 D2), though that was to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey just over two weeks ago.
BARCELONA STARTING XI (4-3-3): Marc-Andre ter Stegen; Ronald Araujo, Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen, Alejandro Balde; Sergi Roberto, Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong; Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Gavi.
BARCELONA SUBS: Eric Garcia, Arnau Tenas, Jordi Alba, Ansu Fati, Angel Alarcon, Marcos Alonso, Pablo Torre, Franck Kessie, Inaki Pena, Ferran Torres.
REAL MADRID STARTING XI (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Antonio Rudiger, Nacho; Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga, Toni Kroos; Federico Valverde, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior.
REAL MADRID SUBS: Mariano, Jesus Vallejo, Dani Ceballos, Alvaro Odriozola, Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eden Hazard, Andriy Lunin, Rodrygo, Luis Lopez, Lucas Vazquez, Marco Asensio.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
Xavi was a frustrated figure for much of the first half, from conceding the goal in the way that they did and feeling like the referee wasn't giving decisions in their favour. He can't have complaints with their response though, and he'll be looking for more of the same. Ancelotti will be expecting much more from his side though; they've barely created anything, and haven't looked too strong at the back either.
It's a huge win for Barcelona as it moves them 12 points clear of Madrid at the top of LaLiga. Next up for them is a trip to Elche after the international break. Madrid now have a mountain to climb if they want to catch their rivals. They host Real Valladolid next time out.
